Hi I am looking for an advice here. 

I have heard that you dont have to take a rental car Insurance while renting a car/SUV if you have full coverage insurance for your personal car or have a Visa credit card with you.


Any experiences ???

Also what if I have full coverage insurance for my SEDAN car and wants to rent a SUV?

Yeah u don't have to get car rental indurances, n also you can reimburse the payment that u made to car rental.

Sone credit cards do have rental insurance coverage if you use the card. You may want to call your credit card company and find out.

 like what he said, call your card company and ask them if the insurance for rental car is covered and also call your insurance company.

 If you have a full coverage on your car, you can opt  not to carry rental car insurance . It does not matter if you are renting a suv or a car. At the time of car pickup, just tell them you will be using your own insurance. Just call your insurance company beforehand to let them know you will be renting. And also like some people said, even some credit card comp  cover rental insurance, and you'll need to call your bank to confirm it.

I have used my visa card multiple times for car insurance. No issues!
