I started my h1b job (financial analyst) a few months ago but I feel that I will be fired within the next two weeks. I applied for tps 2 months ago and went for fingerprint processing about 2 weeks ago.

What is the best course of action for me to stay in status? do any it consulting/ desi companies do immediate h1b transfer without finding a job?

I really want to stay in status I want to file gc someday.

If you applied for TPS and you have the receipt from USCIS - I think you will be in status even if your H1b gets revoked. But if your TPS get denied and your h1b is revoked as well, then you will be out of status from the day your h1b gets revoked. This is what I believe but ask an immigration lawyer. I will advice you to find a consultancy who will transfer your h1b without any project.

Go to a consultancy and have them file a H1 for you. If you receive a receipt notification then you will still be in status. Hopefully after that your H1 with that consultancy gets approved.

Start looking for employer no matter what... If you are not able to find employer for sponsorship you can be on TPS and work but your h1b will be suspended I think .. Once you find employer , then u may have to reopen h1b case and I think it will be consular processing ..apply for AP also so that u can return if h1b is not stamped...if you can find employer who can start GC on TPS that would be good too.. You don't have to leave country for AOS if you entry is inspected
I am not a lawyer .. Research and talk to good lawyer...

Folks! I checked TPS for Nepal and it says end date is in 12/2016. See here,

http://www.fairus.org/issue/temporary-protected-status.

What does that mean? Does it mean end of processing time, or so? I missed the chance to file TPS in the designated time and now regretting. I suck at immigration stuffs :(

USCIS policy is to designate TPS for 6 months/a year/ 18 months.. Nepal was designated for 18 months . If the condition do not improve back home they will extend again.. Research Haiti and Honduras TPS details in justice dept web site to get an idea..
Fyi.. U can still apply Tps on late filing but you will have to satisfy one more additional condition .. Check USCIS website for TPS late filing....

first, why do you think you would be fired in two weeks? How can you tell. Second, two weeks is more than enough to work your ass off and impress your bosses.
