Currently i'm in F1 status and my TPS has been approved. Now, can i request for change of status from F1 to H4?? Will I loose my TPS if i request for COS from F1 to H4?? Any advice and suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

@BioMed, are you sure that change of status from F1 to H4 will not have any impact on approved TPS?? Also, will i be able to renew my TPS when USCIS extends it?

@babysitter yea, as @BioM ed said, TPS a parallel status/protection. your COS from F1 to H4 wouldn't change your TPS. Now, since you already have TPS, it's better to keep renewing it. And, you can apply for GC based on employment/family as you normally can. Hope this helps. Also, saw your nickname here. We're looking for a live-in nanny. we're two working professional in our late 30s and have a 2.5 year old (boy) and 1 year old (girl) and if you know someone, it would be of great help. we live in Stonebridge/Aldie, VA.
