Need information on how to apply for student visa for nursing studies to the USA.

my cousin has done PCL nursing from Nepal and got a license last week. She is willing to pursue her further study in the USA. Please let us know If you know the process.

She would need to apply to a college and first get an I-20. Please email me if you need further information.

Before applying to the college, you need to do the followings.
1. Sort out the colleges that have the programs she is interested in.
2. Find out the admission requirements such as TOEFL and other items
3. Sort out the financial support that is required along with application submission
4. Communicate with the colleges and request the application package or online process to submit the application along with the required documents.
5. Fill out the form and wait for I-20.
6. If she gets acceptance letter and I-20, prepare for visa interview along with all supporting documents.If she is denied, she is done. Look for another option from India or Australia.
7. If she got visa, be ready to work like dog.

Never meant to offend you but it would been wise and worth a applaud if you did not have those two points.

coming to student visa for nursing is not a good idea. It is very hard to find work for nursing as they cannot work on OPT and H1B. If possible switch the subject.
