Depends. If Idaho, Texas, Oklahoma, 100 bucks plus stuff. If Illinois, Maryland, Virginia 250 plus stuff. If New York, California, 500 bucks plus stuff

haha tricky question to ask . i think it largely depends the neighborhood you live . in greater Boston area the base rate is $1000 once a pundit is called on . if the ceremony is a day long ( say marriage , bratamanda , ghar puja ) it can typically go upto $ 2000 . i ended up paying 1500 but that was in 2017 . A pundit from slum places like Brooklyn, queens-Jackson heights can be pretty reasonable, 500 bucks . house puja is a long day work , have at least 1000 bucks for it , if you really like the way de does his stuff add 200 as tip but if you dont, take 500 out from that 1000. so to my little knowledge I would say btn 500-1500 .

If you are okay with online I can help you get Pandit at a cheaper price. I believe it's time to start Online Pandit from Nepal. (Kind of outsourcing)

Zeeh 2k for one day pandit work, I have never heard of that. Again I am not into puja stuff. I call pandit in Texas , couple of time for like 2 hours in morning every year . I generally give 100 bucks plus stuff. He has continued to come when I call him, so I guess that is not horrible otherwise he would have probably say , I am busy find someone else .
