Gals and guys!!! Help!! I downloaded this software which downloads movies ani from that I think I got some viruses and worms! I can't seem to get rid of it! Do you know any effective AntiVirus program that will get rid of it? My computer shuts down for no reason sometimes ani it's so bloody slow (grew couple of white hairs waiting for things to load). If you cud help me...very much appreciate it..I have learnt my lesson now..no more free movies! SOB! sniff!

Most ISP provides antivirus for free. Check with your ISP.
If you cannot get antivirus from your ISP there are some online virus scanners, which will scan your computer for free but they are not as effective. Here is one

You can find more on the net if you search but the best ones out there are Norton and Mcafee (not free.) I can vouch for them.

Use the personal desktop edition. I've used that for quite a bit and it's been working great so far.

It sounds like you may have been infected by a Trojan worm. To keep your computer safe, you need to have good firewall, anti virus and anti spyware programmes installed in your computer and, most importantly, keep them fully and regularly updated.
