A sincere appeal to all those that have been protesting against the KING in various parts of USA. Could you also PLEASE PLEASE organize similar demonstrations against Mr. Pushpa Kamal Dahal, aka Prachanda the bin laden of our country. I realize that organizing such demonstrations could mean that your loved ones back home could be wiped out from the face of this planet. But again you are all brave, democracy loving sons and daughters of Nepal that will always for injustice. I mean, wouldn't you be able to take that much risk for you country. I am in Nepal and I have no courage to against these scoundrels. And, that is why I am making this pledge to you. You are all in very safe and democratic country and can do what you want. Chanting " gyane chor desh chod" is no problem here in Nepal. We do it everyday. In fact we can even pay tons of people to do it for just Rs 50 a day. Try chanting "Prachanda Chor" and we are sure to be Yamaraj's guest tomorrow. This is reality. You all have the previledge of doing something that we can't do in Nepal. Please HELP us.

As far as I can tell ...those anti-king rallys (in the US) were secretly organized by Prachand's men under cover of some pro-democarcy activists living in the US. Who would care about such protests until Prachand's men funneled money to organize such events. Why would PPL in the US protest againts Prachanda using Prachanda's own movey.

Collecting people for public felicitation ( Nagarik Abhinandan) and paying them money are the the characteristics of King and his slaves. There are always people with parties and no need to pay money to gather them. The idea of Khaobadi that Prachanda sponsored the rallies in USA is just a mental collapse of a Royalist. Do you have any source, reasoning and a gut in your statement? Actually these are the Royalists who helped to lift the maoists up. When parties were in the government, Generals like Satchit Samsher, Gadul Samsher etc never stopped saying that maoism is a political issue and should be politically solved. That nonsense Ramesh Nath Pandey who is minister now used to say the same thing. The fact is not hidden that Girija tried to mobilize the army against the maoist, but Army never co-operated. Girija had to step down just because royal army commander shook hand with maoist counterpart in Holeri. Now, Girija and Makune and other political parties have recognized the maoist force and realized that problem will not be solved until maoists issues are addressed but its shame on the royalists that they see Maoist funding on democratic movement.

baccha haru political comment garchan maobadis are underground guerilla rebels, you can't protest against them it would be ridiculous. you can protest against the government not rebels. hello they are not called rebels for no reason. have you heard people protesting against Bin laden? NO have you heard people protesting against Pres. Bush ? YES it is not that people are afraid of maoist or bin laden it is just unusual and ridiculous. you don't protest against rebels or terrorist ( mind you they are different things) you just either bring them to justice or negotiate for peace.

my freind birbhadra.. First of all ..I am not a bachha and neither am i making a just a political comment but rather as the title of the thread suggests a - an appeal. From your comment, you seem to be to behaving in a bahhais way by underestimating others as mere "bacchas". Regardless, Nepal would probably benefit more by anti moist rallys that would bring focus of the entire world towards the atocricies of maoist violence in Nepal. Many people around the world have no idea about the moist violence but thanks to our many democrats..every move by the RNA who are trying to protect your and your familie's ass are disected and analyzed and commented and what not! Why don't you change your name from bir bhadra to mao bhadara or even so prachand bhadta or jyanmara bhadra.

“Nepal has the highest number of enforced disappearances in the world with about 986 unresolved cases of disappearances, respectively 888 by the security forces and 98 by the Maoists.†"Nepal’s bloody conflict claimed the lives of 1,608 people in 2005, out of them 1,008 were killed by the security forces while 600 were killed by the rebels, according to a report released on Monday." -- Asian Center for Human Rights and Forum Asia You do the math, and you make the decision! Of course, it does not justify the Maoist violence either, albeit comparatively less lethal than the violence committed by the security forces; however, it clearly sheds some light on who bears the greater onus of doing the right thing when it comes to protecting civil and human rights of the citizens. That is, on top of the fact that the GOVERNMENT, not the Maoists is signitory to various human rights accords, AND that the security forces, NOT the Maoists, derive their salaries from the national coffers, i.e., the tax payers' money!
