There is so much uncertainties in the air in Nepalese politics that it is mind boggling to me. Girija is PM and has announced CA. It will probably take forever for the CA to be formed and start working. In the meantime, Girija will continue to be PM. Slowly, Madhab and Deuba will want to get the "kurshi". And lo, the same dirty game begins. In the meantime, Maoists are gathering more strenghts. This is evident from the past. Every time they declare ceasefire, they are recruiting more people and getting more arms. With this mess, where do you think the country would be this time next year? Please enlighten my screwed up brain. Thanks.

Now Maoists are openly moving around with arms in KTM estorting money. The case of Dr. Hemang Dixit was one example. I heard they asked for 3 crores from him. People who have investments or are in business are scared. Yes I feel they are recruting and rearranging their strategies. We need a powerful leader like Musharraf is Pakistan who can stop these things. I remember Pakistan was very disturbed during both Nawaj and Benazir's time from communal and ethnic violence which just almost disappeared after Musharraf came. The do have another problem ie al qaida but it's international not domestic...

And yes, I have heard the maoists speak lately...there is no tone of negotiations, compromise,or work around for peace. They know they've got the SAP cornered and the maoists are now demanding by threatening.

santoshgiri, i agree with you on this about us, Nepal is the home of the braves; the gurkhas. If not now, if not us then the next generation will see that we got played and manipulated by india which never wanted to see Nepal to prosper and become the land of peace (keep in mind, india never signed on Nepal's UN proposal of being declared world's peace zone). So, if not now, our next generation of bir gorkhalis will fight and india will see militants worse than it knows in kashmir....I hope they will be even more passionate in fighting for their cause than Palestinians or the religious extremists. india is trying to make Nepal their dumping ground, just like every big powerful country have their dumping grounds around the world to import natural resources and intelligent manpower and to smuggle weapons and operate illegal money laundering.

Well folks.....hope for the best....prepare for the worst!
