Hope everybody is aware of uncertainty of H1B and I am pretty sure guys here want to stick around here for various reason. People might have their own reason and we should respect for that. Well I am on the verged of finishing my MS in CS and applied for H1B in regular quota and I am uncertain as if i will make it cause it is just lottery and you can never trust that. So, I want to ask you guys if you can share if there is reasonable not much expensive(may be i mean cheap :) ) college where we can do MS in electrical or computer engg. degree. It will be good folks if we can share of this knowledge such that it will be usefull for people facing my situation.Thanks..

I heard St. Cloud State University is pretty cheap and has Masters in Electrical Engineering... if you do not ming over 280 nepali ppl studying there... A friend of mine goes there...

I heard Lousina Tech also pretty cheap university. Is there other one too?

Go to University of South Dakota you will get some kind of assistanship there.You don't have to pay at all.

Better you go to University of Memphis, TN. Lots of assistanceship. If you want to do Masters in Electric then assistantship is available.

Is there any body studying in university of memphis. I want to transder there as graduate student electrical engineering, will my credits be trasnfered. is it sure that i'll get assistantship?
