Can someone help me . i need to know why Taj Mahal is one of
the wonders of the world?

Because it is beautiful (I have been there) and is voted by millions of people. Can you please give me a reason why it shouldn't be as one of the wonders?? Other than the reason just because it is in India.

As far as I know, it is mesmerizing, can't be explained in words . Dude, u have to see it once to understand and be captivated by the sheer beauty and unparalalled architecture.

yeha right, lets say voted by millions of indians. anything of india or china will always make top of the list as billions of people will vote...

Taj Mahal is one of the magneficent creation of human, and it deserves the place in wonders of the world. I don't know if you guys have heard or seen this in news - Taj Mahal actually struggled to have itself on the list of wonders. If it wasn't for this article in BBC (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/south_asia/6762755.stm), it actually wouldn't be on that list this year. That article got those hundreds of millions of Indian's to vote for it. So you are right, almost all the votes for Taj Mahal were from India. Whatever the result is, Taj Mahal is indeed a beautiful man-made structure on the earth.

The Taj Mahal,being voted one of the Seven Modern Wonders of the World, is definitely more worthy than Amitabh Bachchan being voted "the Actor of the Millennium" in spite of 1 out of every 6 eligible voters being located within the Indian borders (as a matter of fact).

On the other hand, if the poll was solely decided based on the Internet voters, then, the regions supporting a particular nominee, has more advantage that has not only more population but also has relatively more internet as a whole and has relatively more flare for national heritage

Taj Mahal voted as one of the seven wonders is just ridiculous. I don't see any wonder other than a beautifully made mugal style white marble monument. Wonders should be something like pyramid of giza which is still unexplained how the huge rock carried to the top during the time of its construction. Or, the great wall of china, which was streached 4000 miles and take 100 years to build it. Thats what i called wonders. Taj Mahal should not be allowed to be listed as one of the seven wonders because they get advantage of being the highly populated country and also backed by indian media to urge billions of indian population to vote for it. Instead, seven wonders should be choosen by historians, archiologist, scientiest, mathematicians.

Taj Mahal should not be in wonder list. It should be in beautiful list.

Well I have been to TajMahal and it is both beautiful and amzing. If u look at its curve, its arc it is really amazing. If u give a close look at it u will simply be amazed with so i think its worth
