Hey guys, I am in USA now and my passport expires in mid-september(about a month and some days from today). I am sending this to renew in the coming week. One of my friends said that it is bit late. Am I really late? Please respond if you have any ideas or experiences in this regard. Thanks !

You have enough time to do that. My passport was expired last December.I renewed it last month. It might take 2-3 weeks. Good luck

I renewed my passport a year after it was expired and it's all good. So, going by my personal experience it should not be a problem. Soul
