Hi all,

I was just wondering, can any of you guys can help me with the documents required for the F2 visa processing. like how much money needs to be shown? What would be good, the bank statement of mine i.e bank statement of U.S or bank statement of my dad in kathmandu. Any other information which will help my wife to get her visa. If any one can help me with these information I'd really appreciate that.

Thanks...

For Bank Statement, your statement from American Bank would be better. The amount to you have to show usually depends on the University...you haveto ask the uni. for that. I hope that helps.

sorry that was  a joke but here is some more information

yahoo answers has questions answered for such questions, type in answers.yahoo.com and ask a question~ the info goes out to millions of people!

another thing i researched and found out for u bro....

http://www.immihelp.com/forum/showthread.php?t=5283

this is a thread on people discussing F2 visa, check it out!

also check this what one guy said

i went yesterday 27-04-2007 to apply for my f2 visa, my wife is in the U.S as a student, they've granted me multiple entry till the validity of my wife's f1 visa. make sure the photo is as per requirements, and all the questions are either filled or 'N.A', coz' i was turned away for that, was delayed several hours. Dont bring cellphone, bags coz' you cant keep it anywhere, i was told by a cop to keep it in a tea shop nearby where he charged me Rs100, try not to ask anyone outside for help, coz' almost none of them is genuine, my bad experience!
these are the stuff that I had with me when I went
* D156, D157, D158, application form
* pasport, HDFC receipt, I-20 signed by the university
* bank documents, photo album, wedding invitation, marriage cert (WHICH THE OFFICER TOTALLY DID NOT ASK)
* all I-20s of mine which i have studied in the U.S., letters of working here

thats, it, go early, TRY NOT TO ASK ANY OF THE SECURITIES, COPS FOR ADVICE--UNLESS YOU HAVE TOO MUCH MONEY TO SPARE!

ABOVE ALL, MAKE SURE YOU PRAY AND ASK GOD TO GUIDE, LEAD AND PROTECT YOU.

"Ask and Ye shall receive...you have not coz' you ask not"
Luke 11:9

if you have any questions, i'll be glad to help email me d2gministry@gmail.com

God bless
Joe

i hope this info helps u
