Flights to Kathmandu now range from $2,000 to almost $ 10,000. 

Where can I find cheaper flights?  I used to fly for about $1,500.

Need to know.  Please help

ARIS ... u should be able to get tickets for april around 1700$ and i guess thats the cheapest . I bought mine for the amount mentioned last week . Read the thread . one of them has numbers of the agents , give them a call and talk it out . I did the same too .

Good luck . Day's of 1500 $ gone .. i guess we'll have to get used to the new rates ...

i just got one for 1948, my flight is next week, try peaceland travels and tours or skypass travel in dallas
they have a few for under 2000.

Peaceland Travel was offering the same price.

People flying from NewYork would get the best deal because of Etihad Airlines.

I am going to Nepal through Sanfrancisco-Hongkong-Kathmandu via CATHY and I paid only $1300. I got my ticket from Govinda Shahi through Himalayn Travel Agency. You don't have to pay 2000 bucks.

Here is the info of the travel agent I bought the tickets from. Dragon air is having introductory fair to nepal that's why if you go via hongkong it's cheap and you don't need transit visa. Call Govind Shahi and get your ticket for $1300.

phatte r u the agent of himalayan travels.... Man I tried to get a deal from there. Only thing I got was disappointment. I emailed there, got no reply and I phoned there and receiver asked me to do the mail. what the heck was that?

Phatte, after so many emails Himalayan Travel finally replied me. They gave me an offer of 1900$ from Kansas to Kathmandu return ticket and again saying that is also not sure. It was in september and ticket I was planning was for the december end.
