A top Nepali blogger recalls late King Mahendra

As the country is heading towards the Constituent Assembly polls for the first time in the country’s history, a top Nepali blogger –who writes under the pen name ‘Maila Baje’ – vividly recalls the contributions made by late King Mahendra in protecting country’s sovereignty and promoting national interests.

In his latest posting entitled “A Legacy Looming Large On Our Land” (http://nepalinetbook.blogspot.com/), the blogger argues that if any departed soul tenaciously hovers over Nepal today, it is surely that of King Mahendra. “Despite the major political parties’ sustained campaign since 1990 to officially erase his memory, the late monarch stubbornly refuses to go away.”

Whatever Maila Baje has written is so true. Late King Mahendra was really a visionary and a true patriot. May He Rest in Peace!

Nepal would have been a part of India for sure and we would have been fighting for Gorkha Land. Well, that wasent hard to think of, unless you have something else to say.  Make sure its logical though. Make a comparision. Pre 1990 and Post 1990.

Democrasy ma asss
