Hey folks, My US visa expires in 10 days, I still have a valid I20 though. Is there any way I can renew my visa without leaving the country? Should I try and renew my visa or just stay parked on my I20? Anyone in a similar predicament? Let's share:D Peace.

As long as you are maintaining F-1 status and are not leaving US, you are good. You don't need to renew your visa.

GreenCookie,
Sujaata is right. As long as you are going to college maintaining your F-1 status with a valid I-20, and don't intend to travel to outside the country, you don't need to renew your visa. If, however, you I-20 is expiring, you need to go to your International Office and get it renewed, which is not a hard process.
Hope this helps. Good Luck!

Hey Greencookie, Don't worry, I was in the same situation for about 2 years. It did not matter to me. Although, it will be slightly disadvantageous to you as you can not travel outside ( other than Canada, Mexico etc) in your expired visa but to remain in the USA, no worries. Just parked right there with your hand break on. Make sure that you maintain your status ( student) by registering enough credits etc... Let me know if you have any other worry?
