If this is true then it sure is GREAT NEWS cause w will not have to depend on India for everything anymore.

It is to China's advantage.  Now they will be able to bring in their troops for an invasion the way they did in  Tibet.  Beware of who you invite into your camp.

We were getting such news for last couple of years. China is striving hard  to be world economic power and this rail network could be one of the small factors for the mission. Whatever may be the interest, Nepal will be benefited from it. And heard somewhere, India is a big obstacle for this as they believe China has different interest than just helping Nepal. And with this rail network (If it connects Kathmandu) they can easily attack India (when the situation arises).

Whatever, wherever, however, and whenever the railways comes to Nepal (with the help of China) its a fantastic news but I wonder why cant we do ourselves? Im not aware how big project we need for railway (and of course FUND). How long can we depend on others?  There might be some experts here in SAJHA who can throw some light. How long should we wait so that we can do it ourselves? And any other info regarding this issue?
