vastav dude, try to find university which will let u register for internship class in the first semester of masters program.Do not mention them that u will be joining the university only if they grant u cpt.Just ask them, if its possible to register for the internship class in first semester. If they agree, then register the class and talk with the professor about cpt.You may need to get a signed letter from the professor and also from the company u r working mentioning that your employment will be curricular practical training required by that class.Show those letters to your international advisor and he will update the information of cpt in your I20..well dude, try to talk with the universities near your area, just do not mention them u will be joing there just to get cpt..coz' they will have wrong feeling that u want to enroll just to get cpt, so they will hesitate at first time, but after u become student there and talk nicely with professor, i m sure he/she will help u with cpt...just be cool dude.

Hi zee, I had posted it in another thread too,but didin't get the concrete answer. You seem to have answer for the problem regarding my CPT approval. Can you please suggest me here from your expierence? I finished by Associate degree last May and since then been working at hospital in OPT. My OPT expires end of this month, and have been accepted to the same medical university I am working for in Bachelors Professional degree (and for this program the associate degree I got is the requirement ). My plan was to keep on working for another year in CPT at the hospital. But now, I am told by my International Academic Director that I have to be the student of University for at least one year before I can be eligible for CPT. Is that always true? She also told me that if I have friends who have been allowed to work in CPT in their very first semester, she would talk to people and might even consider me for CPT. So, I would be really grateful if you guys could share here any experiences or knowledge regarding the similar issues you have or know. Thanking you.

born to rule bro...
your international advisor is absolutely correct.that you have to be the student of University for at least one year before you can be eligible for CPT,since u will be enrolling in Bachelors Program. The exception to the one year enrollment rule is only for the graduate studies or masters program.
