PM ready to make any sacrifice to protect democracy Kantipur Report KATHMANDU, May 31 - Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala Saturday said that he would be ready to sacrifice anything including his life to protect democracy, human rights and personal freedom. Speaking at a programme organised by the Federation of Nepalese Journalists in the capital today to mark Nepal turning into a republic, the octogenarian leader said that he would ‘leave no stone unturned’ to protect democratic values and norms. “I am committed to country, democracy, human rights and individual freedom and am ready to even sacrifice my life for these causes,” said Koirala. Claiming that he has never backed away from his responsibilities, PM Koirala said that he will not follow the crowd and believe what others say. The Prime Minister’s remark was clearly directed at CPN-Maoist Chairman Prachanda. Maoist Chairman Prachanda had yesterday warned that if the Nepali Congress and UML do not amend their ways, they might invite a communist republic.

Well Guys!  I am not defending Girija here but we should look at how he has been successfully handling post Janaandolan II period. Try to be realistic guys!  He has shown real statemanship lately. He has been changed a lot in his 80s. I acknowledge his contribution to manage the peace aggreement and bring Maoist in mainstream politics. Even Prachanda and Baburam have publicly acknowledged this fact.  

 

Bringing Maoist to mainstream is not GPK or any other foocking leaders sole effort for peace. Its Maoist plan for safe landing to mainstraem politics. They just need a Bali Ko Boko to be sacrifice to kill a Tiger. Excatly thats what they did. You know in politics .... To win you have to get dirty.

Democrates and Royalist underestimated Maoist. This azzhole Prachande is not a moron. He had spent half of his life underground, he doesn't care about anything or anyone; no army, no law, no neetas, no int pressure, no king nothing he knows only one thing to be "First Communist President of Nepal" so the history will remember his Name forever like Marks, Lenin, Mao, Che, Jim jong whatever.
