Hi,
If i want to have a reference page, does it have to be part of the resume? Because all resume and references wont fit on one page. Or SHold i make seperate page for reference?

dude,
your resume does not have to a single page resume; i used to think the same way until I had to make my own resume. Two or three max should be fine as you would be able to expand all your experiences, skills, and expertise in it. So, expand your resume to more than just a page.
Good Luck!

i fi ijust put my work experiences, i can fit all in one page. I did some research, look like referecne page can be seperate page by itself.
Also it is not advised to have 1+ page resume as employers usually dont have time to flip through all. They take a quick glace

Hareeb Ji, It depends if you are a Business major or Science major. Usually business people try to make their resume(that is why they call it resume) short because there are lots of applicants whereas Scientists have it(that is why they call it curriculum vitae) in more detail cause there are less applicants for the position. I think you do not have to have a reference page cause if they are really interested they will contact you first. Also, you can write references available upon request.

I would recommend all to keep the resume as short as possible . When i hire people i just look at the first page and then put it in the drawer never to opened again . Keep it as short and just make sure you have a strong refrence, mention it , if not then just put " furnished upon reference ".We will understand .Reference is not important , whats important is what your qualifications are , your attitude and work ethic Most human resources wont look at the long resume , cause its shit .

let me put it like this. Standard resume is always 1 page. Think of like this -- those people get so many resume that they won't go over two pages of your resume, "they don't have time". Like negro said, don't make it too long they wont look at it and it will just lay in some corner, EVEN though he might not be the big CEO of a company he is right. Of course unless you are like a Phd guy, you obviously have tons of experience so if you push it upto 2-3 pages thats fine. But if you have Bachelor degree and this is your first time looking for job MAKE IT 1 PAGE. Trust me, i was told by my advisor, career resource center people, emplyoer, recuiter blah, make it 1 page. NEAT AND SWEET. look for the format, dont make it too crowdy and difficult to read. Make it flow to Glow baby. For reference, just write AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST

Negrodamus, muji bhalu ko baan, transvestite ko poi...chiikkne still talks from his shit-streak filled undies here it seems. Shut that hairy azzhole of yours before I ask Latoboy aks kukpaboy to give you a Dirty Sanchez and if thats still not enough then he's make sure the Dirty Rodriguez is something that'll keep you loose back-hole filled for a coupla minutes...Now this kid born in a brothel will use the same lines I used for him back to me like he did earlier...Go get new lines, mothafugckin lil b@stard....What a butt-muching faggy Son of a biaatch this hairy-chested eunach is!!
BTW, you say:
kahile thulo company ko managment ma pug , ani bujchas
HAHAHAH Yeah right, we all know you're a janitor for a thulo company...You're prolly mananging the janitors...Did I see you clean up the bathroom the other day after I took a dump there? Stick to doing that, cum-eating, BO reeking, butt-mounting, cock-suckin, "forest in ya chest" mothafugcking nincompoop!!

What if a person doesn't write: References available upon request on their resume? Is it bad?
Thanks.

Dude, If you are good enough, they will call you up. So, quit thinking about whether you need a reference or not. Rather spend time on improving your resume quality. Make sure you have the keywords for the job you need. Highlight your ability to work in groups (if it so desires), leadership ability (in every job) and most of all, your accomplishments. Show that you can do something concrete and how that may help you contribute positively to the firm's growth. And, oh yea, try to make your resume as short as possible. People do not have time to go over pages and pages unless its some technical stuff that you cannot fit in a page. And, as someone said earlier, business resumes are shorter than those geared towards science jobs. The question I always like: Why should we hire you and not someone equally qualified from another reputed institution? What makes you different?

Thank you Mahadev.
To add to everyone else:
Yes, if a person is just bachelors graduate with no experience whatsoever, the person is not yet ENTITLED to have pages after pages RESUME.

Yes, i know you are free in your job right now, need something to kill some time but stop dicking around man -- it's getting ridiculous calling each other randi ko choro, bhalu salu, strop cursing the mother man. Chill out.
