Know what a bhutanese migrated nepali did.This guy just complains to the immigration office that he did not get a chance to work in restaurant,gas station or any other gnikcuf$$$ places just because F1 status nepali students have occupied it.So what happened is,the required authorities have started investigating this matter.Some student might even get deported due to his way of thinking. So now,i don't feel any sympathy to these people after coming across a long way or what do ya guys feel bout it??????

Let the news reach Nepal...People will kick their ass off from Camps in there. We tolerated them for Decades and they are in turn messing -up..

because little knowledge is harmful, we can't just judge any group of people by one person's action. If your story is true we will have to find that culprit and punish him Nepali Style...

but in the mean time please write your story in full.,. we don't want names if you don't wan to give it to us, but we want to know what city it was, so that we can contact the respective Nepali community there and hence they will contact the Bhutanese Community there and we will go from there..

Lets not judge all of these people with one person's action for now coz it might be very dangerous in future. A sentence of racial slur might be very long lasting till generations to come. I worked with bhutanese people for 4 years in a restaurant. Some are di(k and rest are good. Its like these white people you know, some are really raciest and some are very helpful. Lets hear the full story. I am sure not all of 'em are like.

Make sure that you actually have proof about this. Bhutanese are folks who are very scared of authorities even when they have the right. We have been conditioned to be such, and we ain't very proud of that.

Things slip out, unintentional things happen.

"Did you try that gas station?"

"yes, I did, but there is already a Nepali guy working there?"

"Can he help you find a job?"

"No, he is also a student working part time. He can't help me."

And that would do it.

So, please make sure that this simple incident does not lead to a flaring of conflict between us.

I also do think (or rather know) that US authorities are very aware of the students in various status working illegally. They don't persue because it is not worth it. Why would this one incident make them spend time on it? 12 million illegal people work in this country, and the authorities know. If anything, postings in public forums like it could just invite investigations than complaints from a dude fresh off the boats.

And also please make sure this smart-ass (if this is an intentional thingie) is not a Nepali citizen who has posed his way to the US as a Bhutanese refugee. I believe there are a few thousands of them here already, from the pre-resettlement era, and a few I have met from this group have been the ones dissing other Nepalis in less permanent status!

I know a few and heard of many stories about people from nepal paying couple of Lakhs to come to USA posing as Bhutanese Refugees.. I think it is sad that people will do anything, when genuine refugees can't come but, people with money are coming here..

and in that case if you know someone who is dissin' other nepali's with lesser status and that person is a refugee Impersonater, not only me everyone here in USA want's to know, so we can kick his arse first and call the Immigration on him.... can't tolorate thiefs.. and those with smart mouth...
