Hey sajaha bashi ahru suggest me in this situations.......

I got a letter from collection dept. had a rental car wreck five months before.And the insurance was only basic, which resulted me to pay for that whole car. So i started paying in monthly basis, but that mf sent the claim to collection, and which is beyond my capacity to pay all at time. I am just worried here ki my credit gonna be zero, ok that is also fine. Do the collection dept. go to my bank account too, or to my credit cards ......... without my authorization and take money? What else they do? Please let me know asap. Thanking you all. 

it's just gonna be on ur credit record... they won't do anything to ur other credit card or checking accounts.. so do not worry dude... it's not a country to live in man... je garna aayeko garne tespachi chalne "NEPAL"....

Nothing will happen to your bank account, but your credit history will screw up. If the Credit Score doesn't matter for you, then stop doing that minimum payment also, if not you have to pay all the money. The Credit history may effect you in finding the job too as the big company do the background check. It's not sure , but may be. So, be careful and try to resolved the problem with the rental car company......

I have been to similar situation.

Describe ur scenario in details which will help me to identify ur problem and give u serious suggestion.

Tell me how much was the damage?

how much did u paid so far?

Is it a collection agency tryiing to collect money or insurance company?

Which state r u in?

Are they threating u to cancel ur DL?

And any other info u might have related to ur case...

   And abt the bank account and credit card, they can't to shit abt it. They will have to go to court, file a law suit, win that law suit to get money out of ur personal account, property and credit card which indeed would be lengthy and costly process for that collection agency.

 Infact even though if they won the case, it does not mean that they can take over ur personal property?The max thing they can do is ask for the payments since u wont have any lump sum to pay them.

If u can handle the amount, u can start negotiation with the collection agency to make an settelment which will be less than 50% that u own them.

AND ONE MORE THING. THE CREDIT CARD COMPANY U USED TO RENT THE CAR SHOULD HAVE RENTAL INSURANCE ON IT WHICH SHOULD COVER UR ACCIDENT EXPENSES. DID U TALKED TO UR CREDIT CARD COMPANY ABT THIS?

I was worried abt the ba/c and c/cs, but after hearing u guys got relief. Did everything whatever y'll said. But, luck wasn't in my hand so paying little stub a month for (damn credit)...:) The main part is we all survived.

Would suggest u people to drive safely, and always minimize phone while driving..............
