It might be difficult to pursue to MS Telecom (i.e Electrical Engineering ) with computer engineering background. If you want to go for Telecommunication from CSE background, for that you can go MS in CSE with major on microprocessor, networks and real time embedding, which will be quite relevant for you. But I cann't say about the about the job prospectus. I have heard that there is a great demand for embeding right now, but can't say what will happen when u got graduated

ice cop, if the university decides you are good enough to pursue course in telecommunications than there will be no problem. But University before chosing you will go through all the subject that you studied in your bachelors. And Msc in communications is really good subject.

ice_cop123 ji, Telecommunication Engineering is a good thinking. I am also on the same boat.I am having hard time to find good university with some assistantship/tuition waiver....I suggest you go for that..and post if you have found a good university..Talking about the courses ,most of the courses you take in computer science/CSE/Electrical engineering are related to MS Telecommunication as a prerequisite..

I don't know whether it is that good on telecommunication engineering or not but if you guys will also consider about wireless engineering then Auburn University is the best.

Good analogies: 'wireless engineering' : Auburn is the best (may be, i don't know about 'wireless engineering' :) ) 'wireless communications' : MIT is the best ( if we are talking about 'the' best) UMass Amherst is very good (I would not say 'the' best) for Wireless Communications.
