I bought a stolen iphone (i guess) from a junkie in very less price but the owner locked the iphone..everytime i try to start it up,it asks for PASSCODE......anybody can help me how to get rid of this?

You have to Jail Break it.. I had the same problem but i jail break it for $30....If you know somebody, they can do it for you in a reasonable price...Good luck with your Iphone...

You can restore the iPhone by DFU mode setting. It is very easy way to restore the iPhone and make new iPhone new setting will delete all pervious data and information, and it will work as new bought. iPhone OS 3.0 is free for iPhone so that it is not big deal to update it. If you are using different sim card which doesn't have iPhone data plan ( AT&T's 3G data plan for iPhone), try Jailbreak software to unlock the iPhone...

Dharanstar!!!!!!!!! is right...you have to jail break it in order to use that. Here is another post about iphone 3g unlock + jailbreak about a week ago...I post a solution for that and every steps on doing it... You should find post and check it out... Let me know if u need more help....
