1nepali, the information you have provided there is not clear enough, but as far as i know, for H1B petition to be approved, the employment you seek should be related to your major, and nowadays USCIS has even stricter rules, so I doubt even immigration lawyer can do anything about that. So if you have good terms with your employer, then they can modify the requirements of the position to suit your academic credentials, thats what most IT consulting companies do. hope u will get feedback from someone more familiar with this issue. good luck !

Dear dHwasE, Thank you very much for your information; regards H1B. My degree is: Masters in Health Care Management and I am working in OPT as a Clinical Assistant ( Job experience from Nepal); not in management. So, my employer have to create a new job posting ( to modify job requirements) for sponsor. I don't know what are the possible position for private clinic and so on... So, where can I get more information on that?
Thank you !

1nepali If you help out with front desk and billing then maybe you can tweak your position as office manager, then the other thing is you have to be paid according to the position and the position should demand at least bachelors degree. I think it might be complicated to file H1b for clinical assistant. Consult a lawyer i might be wrong

ya i agree with onlyassignments , i have seen people working as administrative officers in IT consultancies but all they do is just check mails and do other day to day work , like an office clerk. and the other thing is , if your bachelors degree suits the requirement for the current position, then you can also think of applying for H1B based on that, you dont necessarily have to have masters for H1B, and it wont be a problem as nowadays there are not much applications for H1B in general quotas as well. but i repeat, best way to figure it out is to ask an immigration lawyer or someone who have previous experience on these kinda issues.
