I have a three years  Bachelor's degree from a renouned university in India. I'm in the process of applying to the MBA program in the US, and I found out that you need 4 years completion in order to get into the regular MBA program or you have to apply to the bridge program.
So the bridge program itself takes 1- 2 years and MBA another 2 years, altogether give and take 4 years. I would rather do a one year
post grad studies either in India or Nepal and then apply for the regular MBA program.

Any suggestions as to where can I get my post grad degree that is valid for US universities or is it better for me to complete my master's out here and then apply for MBA?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

There are few universities that accepts 3 years undergrad program and admits you to the MBA degree. There are few where you can do like Pre-MBA ( around 1 year to study the minor courses to equate the US undergrads program ). Your choice of completing the fourth year of study on your undergrad is also acceptable since then you would have lot more options to good universites. Hope this helps.

After a 4 year degree there would be no problem to get admitted to a MBA program. To know how much GPA you need or how much scholarships you might achieve depends on the universities you apply for. If you go for a reputed universities you might end up paying high tution fees. But it all depends on you where you wanna land. Research more and visit websites of the universities which offer the course you wanna study.

  1. Accounting Professionals Track requires two or more years of recent full-time work experience in accounting or a related field, and a strong financial accounting academic background (three or more courses).

This track requires that students take two years of curricular practical training (CPT) position where the student applies MBA skills to real-life situations in the workplace. This program addresses the needs of established accounting professionals who want to deepen their professional knowledge and experience. The entire program is 2.5 years in length.

  2. Strong Background Track requires at least 4 accounting courses. No work experience is necessary.

This program is, at minimum, an 11-month MBA with no curricular practical training. It is well-suited for people who possess a strong academic background in accounting and business, and who want to earn their degree quickly.

  3. Fresh Start Track is an MBA for students with no work experience and not much academic background in accounting.

MUM prepares you for success as a professional accountant in 11 months to 2 years, depending on your academic background and professional work experience. There is no curricular practical training with this track.

Above mentioned points are just formalities-You just make certification--as we nepalese used to make....yo jo sanga sambanda rakhdachha.....from related instirution- provided time period is ok.

You do not need to complete- SAT,GRE,Toffel etc..Just a good english back ground will work fine- all the student completing their study in Nepal are fluent and competent in English language.
