Hi All,

Is anyone traveling to Nepal via Chicago (ORD) - New delhi (Indira Gandhi) - Nepal on Tuesday, Aug 2, 2011? My parents are traveling so if anyone could help that would be great. They just need some guidence. You will not need to babysit them.

 My parents travelled from BOS-ORD-DEL-KTM on 26th July. Although they could hardly speak english, they said it was very easy. There were tons of indians from ORD to DEL and helped them (YES). The indian people were nice enough for my parents to lend their cell phone ( they made 3 calls)  and guide to the departure gate.

They found Nepali people in Delhi Airport and it was easy for them. They had to claim their baggage in Delhi (as it was 12 hrs layover) but the Jetairways staff were helpful and took care of everything.  The only problem was Delhi airport was too expensive for them to buy anything to eat (4 dollar cup of tea would have made sense but a 160 IRS did not as they comapared the currency to NRS not USD)
