Valid examples:
- A haunted house that science has been unable to explain
- Milk coming out of a hindu idol god that science has been unable to explain
Invalid examples:
- Virgin birth of Jesus christ. We can not experience/validate this today
- A haunted house used to exist in London in early eighteenth century. We can not experience validate today
If there aren't any then that would make the argument (that paranormal/supernatural experiences are personal and not real) even more stronger.

There is a million dollar challange for any paranormal activity that can be verified with formal tests.
http://www.randi.org/site/index.php/1m-challenge.html
To this date noone has been able to claim this million dollar.
In Nepal we always hear about many paranormal incidents. Maybe we can bring someone from Nepal to the US to win this million dollars.

You are right rethink. Completely forgot about the million dollar challenge. Therefore, supernatural paranormal experience is most probably personal and not real. Most probably.

@power_ranger: "Personal and not real" reminds me of Sherlock Holmes: The Hound of the Baskervilles.
“There is nothing more deceptive than an obvious fact” -Arthur Conan Doyle
If you ever return safely after bumping into a zombie, don’t forget to claim your million dollar prize. Good luck.

Power ranger, are you sure about those facts?
It's not milk coming out of statues, it's milk disappearing on them.
Check this link, it was such a news those days(has video too)..
http://www.milkmiracle.com/html/miracle.html#Video
Haunted house?? I don't believe those crap, if you think hearing noise, objects moving are haunted house symptoms than it's nothing more than chemical substance in the environment causing hallucination and it's limited to just one affected persons perspective.
Check this video out, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eZvHqb_RFpQ
if you don't see your ceilings falling up and down or your wall painting flying by, tell me. If this mere optics experiment can cause what seemed like real to your eyes, do you really believe those haunted house accounts?? naht for me.
Virgin birth of Jesus, religiously if you see this I wouldn't believe it, but scientifically, it's possible, test-tube babies?? artificially seminated sperm to womb , did it really involved sex? NO.. ( my personal opinion: I dont regard those era 'God' more than advanced beings than our time. Yes, highly sophisticated advanced beings than us, sounds crazy but that's very true, we ourselves are living proof of it. )
and all those paranormal activities are nothing but some sort of gravitional glitch occuring at certain times, remember, we're on giant rock hurling towards unknown dark deep void we call space consisting of unimaginable amount of electromagnetic layers to go through. Common we've used these experiments in 5th grade, same pole of magnets throwing themselves away or magically grabbing magnetic objects towards it. That magnet came from the earth and considering these things, all these paranormal activities are nothing but some unknown scientific phenomenon that we've not yet understood yet.
if you are gonna come up with ghost/spirit/kichkandi stories or experiences, remember you create your own reality. To me its nothing more than that. Or if you see some of your dead relatives, it's again something has to do with your brain. I read a book about this researcher doing research on NDE(Near Death Experiences) and according to the author, all those theyexperienced something just before they died on the hospital deathbed, they all saw the god of their belief, christian saw jesus, muslim saw mohammad, buddhist saw buddha and hindu saw their own version of god. Conclusion?? Mind is a powerful certain(forgot the number) watt of energy(that I like to call consciousness/lifeforce/life energy) which creates wonder in your own world.
I did one experiment to myself right here in santa cruz;
I usually pass one street to take short cut when I return late from my parents place to mine. That street has one big old abandoned house, almost looks like crazy haunted house as shown in movies esp at night. So, one late night I was driving by the same street, I imagined all possible horror movies and for a moment I got expected goosebumps, I put myself back in time when I was kid. When I turned my face to that house, I saw someone(old lady on walker which my mind created)unusually standing at that time around when noone is supposed to be out there. I was like wth, checked on my backmirror, in a matter of second there was nobody..(remember, that was my mind which saw it, but mirror didn't show me that) after few days, about same time I was on my true self(not scared and such), and check the same building the way I did before, I saw nothing, it's just old building. This little experiment on my own proved our mind is to blame if we experience something, I had known mind is powerful thing but that lil experiment further strenthen my internal belief.

I've experiened "veer dekhaune". That's the closest thing to my own experience of "supernatural activity". I saw how my house was broken into and I felt like I was truly enchanted by what I was seeing.

!)I have seen a ufo a few times. You just need to go out and look at the sky sometimes. One was in kathmandu itself.
2)Once, parents and self was watching tv in house when suddenly there was a loud bang on the door. The gate was locked. There was no stone. We all heard it and i opened the door. It was around 5pm. There was noone. Later around 7pm got call from another place a cousin brother had died at 5pm.
3)Love is also not scientifically verifiable but it does not mean it does not exist. Because if they are then it becomes Science. I think in order to believe in such things, you have to leave Science behind. The most important factor i think is to experience it yourself because until and unless you do, it will simply not make any sense.

freedom2012,
You've seen UFO a few times? How many times? Not just 1 time but multiple times? That too in Nepal? LOL.
Personal experience is not reality. Reality is when it's true all the time for everybody. For example, no matter who you are (Dalai Lama or Sathya Sai Baba or Tom Dick and Harry), gravity will pull you down to earth. Another example is no matter which religion you follow, the sun will rise in the east and set in the west. This is reality. Whereas, personal experience is not. You maybe experience presence of an angel in the room but the video camera in the room didn't capture any such thing. You may find a house haunted but somebody else can get a good night's sleep in the house.
So, there you go. Personal experience is not reality.

these folks are talking about ghost and scared of it,
the fact these guys are not understanding is that we are ourselves ghosts(spirits) in bodies.
Regarding those noises or voices, there is one entire valley full of people hearing these noises, guess what it's electromagnetic surveillance.(check the video below)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JmE4oTXYmf4&feature=share
It was on the news last month, and they're calling it electronic harrassment.

power_ranger, did you read my very post above? Virgin in this age can be mother through artifical insemination. Why are you opposing that it's not true? I'm not religious and not backing christianity in any form but I highly perceive it as some sort of historical incident that took place at that period of time. You go back to that time, and show them you are flying on a plane, you'll be worshipped as GOD. Going back and forth to time,in this linear time is not hard, it's just that we don't have that technology yet. How about who might have? sounds crazy right? but hey let the imagination play :D
in china, they did experiment on teleportation, it succeeded, no media covered it except few science forums. Why? dumb ppl don't read those, they read news on tabs/others affairs/kills/murders/rape only. Have you ever seen people marching/rioting to send men to mars? or to send them to moon? No.. what am trying to prove is science communities are now agreeing time travel is very much possible. It's just that lot of we dumbs don't know about it.
and gravity is not same in all part of the world, our earths mass is not spread proportionately and hence, at some place you find yourself gaining weight, whereas at some place you find it opposite. Let me give you another perspective, you thought earth is round? This is how earth looks like, pear/potato shaped.
Do you believe, in certain vortex, there is no gravity, right here on earth.. ?? You've to, it's time to re-update our old science knowledge throughout the education system, which is not being done in timely manner.
Nice thread anyway, some food for thought :D

Power Ranger,
yes i saw UFO in kathmandu once. And twice in USA. So 3 times as of now. This is as real as the fact that i had Macdonalds for lunch just now. Or are you going to decide what i had for my lunch?.
Many people have seen UFOs and experienced paranormal, not until you see and experience them, you will always think that people who see UFOs are stupid and mistake birds and planes as UFOs. So how else can one prove?.
You are the type of person who thinks he is very smart by asking the question "Who created God?" to Theists when the fact is that Theists do not believe in a created God.

freedom2012, Tell us more about your 3 UFO visits. This is quite a coincidence that 1 guy from Nepal will have not 1, not 2 but 3 UFO visits. Tell us more : What shape size were the flying objects. What about the aliens? Were u abducted? Did they pass you any message ? Why is your experience any different than a person experiencing ghost when s/he is alone? If there was a camera, would it have captured the UFOs? Were you alone? Did anybody else see the UFOs?

Power Ranger,
UFOs simply means unidentified flying object. It might not necessarily mean aliens. My encounter was of the first kind. The kathmandu one was a metallic object. It was in 1990. I did not have any video camera, and anyways, one does not walk around with a video camera hanging around your neck all the time. When i think of it now, it might have been perhaps a spy plane from China or India?. But i have researched it and did not find any such design or shape. There was a stranger there a country bumpkin though who saw it with me.
The USA ones were circular shaped and moving fast in one direction. I saw 2 one after the other in about 10 minutes. The first one was too fast and disappeared into the clouds, the second one...i did go to my room to get the camera, but i was too late.
In my teens, i was like you a skeptic. But when you experience it then you realise there is really more to it than meets the eye.
If you google the greatest inventors and scientists of the world, you will get like maybe 30, without whom modern life would not have been possible. The population of the world in billions yet it is only a few who changed this world. From this we realise that even though we all have the same brain, the ability to tap into knowledge out there and discover it is very rare. So, it is similary not necessary for everyone to be able to see and experience God for God to exist. So Jesus is a possibility if you see it from that perspective. And i am not a christian saying this.

freedom2012, Your UFO experience is not verifiable. There is no way for us to experience it. Your story is same as other personal experiences that can not be verified. I was looking for something that I can experience today. I guess you can claim anything that can not be verified.
