I wonder too. I remember one post from hmmm.... I forgot who wrote that. Those days some guys were so furious to get rid of NAS and some heated discussion going around as well. Oh yeah the thing was :

NAS
SAN
ANS

I actually thought he just created different persona of himself to comment on his own posts; as ridiculous as that sounds, it actually made more sense than bunch of people taking his names all the times as if he was a second coming. I have read his past threads and have debated with him (via posts) on occasion, I do think he has good brains behind his persona; but I still don't get why so many people are/were gaga behind him. Look at this, even after he is gone, people remember him like a martyr or big hero while we have had really big contributors in the past (Ashu, Paschim, Sitara come to mind).

I get that he had that rare quality to debate at intellectual level, while still be casual/howdey with the rest. I still don't get why people remember him even till this date and I will never get it.

NAS used to get as naughty as he can BUT in an intellectual way. That's why WE all remember him to this day and he will be. I still remember his hybrid MONKEY+HUMAN face which really suits him. MONKEY = Naughty & HUMAN = Brain!

What's with this waxing lyrical of an obsessive psycopath? I never got to get well acquainted with him as I wasn't here during his heyday but I got to observe a snippet of how he was overly obsessed with a married woman on a public forum. I found it really amusing that he didn't get banned for his drivel that seemingly lasted a good few years. That, her man didn't take it personally to settle the score in person, is a totally different matter.

Unsurprisingly enough, he's left a mark on here and some people still continue to see him as a 'celebrity'. It doesn't matter how intelligent and smart you are if you can't use it for good deed.

Re: His current location, Isn't he running a personal website/blog to expand his fanbase? Apparently, there are a few wannabes on here who try hard to imitate what he was notorious for doing.

He was unique and as you said he has brain. One time Sajha was like Facebook , most of them were poking every threads "Nice Pics", even he/she does not know whose pics was that.
His threads were eye catching as well full of logic , some of them were entertaining too.
Best was "Suggestion for buying Gold", if you have bought some, must have doubled your investment.

magorkhe, I paid roughly 1700 per ounce.. after I followed NAS suggestion, not that I regret the investment, but it's now roughly 1600.. are you sure about doubling investment??
His blind devotion towards Ron Paul was the only thing that irked me for a while.
Ron Paul is a nice guy, no doubt but I think he's born in wrong time, his ideas were to going back in barter system, isolating nation from diplomatic affairs, minding own business when neighbors are in deep trouble, and so many primitive radical views..

I agree with daum, at times Nas was an a$$hole for lots of people here in sajha but he sure had some intellectual brain. I never even bother to comment on his thread because he always use to come up with some stupid and funny, logical at times comment. I have been using sajha from 2007 and by far he is one among the very few whom i remember. Few others were, samsara, rekha didi. dr ashu pandey, geology tiger who's still here, rahulvai too.

Label me a party-pooper, but I now see why we are more of a country of followers than leaders. I see why people complain about every system there is and yet it's them who blindly follow a leader and cause riots and Nepal-bandhs on streets. Our bheda mentality will never leave us.

Please keep up the worship; I am done with this thread and this meaningless discussion.

Nas Bro, its your time again to evolve, as Priyanka karki is divorced (which we all knew would happen one day, sooner or later). Come on Nas, you should be like Paras Shaha and desrve a second chance. Welcome back NAS

You do not need to like every ones comment, read it and forget it, period.
"लाटो छोराले बाउलाई जिस्क्याउछ भन्थे" , you just did as it said in the proverb.
Now you started with mu*zi, what will be next?.

I used to love what he had to write. Even though he used to come up with some of the conspiracy theory, but it would be worth to read. He was all in one and one in all. I agree some of the stuff would be offending but his points would be worth noticing. I would love to see him again.
