Yo college ma sodhera thaha huncha bhanne k ho? Have anyone done this? Asking the immigration status with international office of school. How long would it require to change the status in their system after h1 approval. Waiting is killing me last chance.

Yes, I did the same last year. Call your international services Office at school and they will tell your current status. If it is shown as "PENDING", that mean you are picked in Lottery. Otherwise, you are out of it.

H1B is not related to the school you attended unless they are filing your case. So, I don't know what kaliya bro was trying to say there. Instead of asking your International Student Office, you should ask the lawyer/employer who filed your case.

You are still under F-1 status till your H-1B starts on October. Hence, the day your application picked to October, your change of status will be in pending. I don't know if the lawyer can check your status via SEVIS, but the international student office certainly do.

Its up to you, whether you believe or not. But, it worked for me. School told me almost 15 days ahead my lawyer call me to inform I am selected.

sabai bhanda pahiley thaha pauney tarika bhaneko satrianic bro ley bhaney jasto ho . lottery ma select huna sathai send gareko cheque cash huncha. Then only other steps begins which includes getting receipt number/EAC or WAC number. This receipt will be sent back to your lawyer/employer and will be updated in your record then only international office will know about your h1b processing.
mero chai cheque nai may ko third week tira kateko thiyo, so give up chai na dinu, alternate bhaney rakhi rakhnu mitra haru. Good luck to you all.
