In my opinion,this song should be our national anthem. I dont think there is anyone here in this forum, who doesnt like this song. if i get into fight with anyone, i sing this song to myself and out of nowhere, this gorkhali gets pumped up to beat the livin shit out of him. it is that joshilo.

i think its a fine song kool keta. To my knowlede wasn't "Gauncha Geet Nepali Jyoti ko" was previous national anthem b4 the current one became. Well u haven't heard "hatne hoina Dati ladne' that mean u went to so called english medium school cuz its by the back cover of every mahendra mala book taught in public school. Eventhough i didn't study in nepal and i was raised here, i know about it dear. whats wrong with you?

I agree and second the notion that our national anthem needs a face lift. The one we have makes no sense in what we as a Nepali have turned out to be.

aa ho, you are more on the target, that is what I feel. I guess, Nepali world has taken a topsy-turvy turn in that we have so many things that are outdated. And that includes the old anthem with all glorification about an instituion which is nothing but "bunch of A--holes."

haha yah this anthem is just filled with parises....praising the king..when i was little and sang it everyday in school i never realized what i was doing, now when i re learn the phases i dont even feel like singing the anthem.....
