Dada Giri-san cum Bro,
I am glad to see appreciation from you regarding
GyaNeX, the online Unicode Nepali Typing software
that I developed. I am certainly interested to work
towards it as time permits.
I am suggesting computer science students (Nepali)
here at my univ to work on it as undergrad graduation
project work like that. Let me see how it works.
Next, I am proud and honest to myself that I never
had to take ghus. A few nepali civil engineers who
ever worked in HMG nepal can claim: honestly with
himself, well, publicly anyone can claim, but,
to honest to himself, it certainly requires you to
avoid being ghusyaha.
Now, pulchowk campus. Being an alumni of Pulchowk
campus, I am certainly proud of PC. That was the
best time I ever spend in Nepal.
Why Pulchowk Campus is better? First of all, its students
that are best. Its the admission system in Pulchowk that
is best in the world and really great taht we can imagine.
Thanks to teachers in Pulchowk Campus who stablished
a great trend in the history of Nepal. Maharaj Gunj
Campus and Pulchowk Campus are great in this trend.
These teachers who refused to admit son and daughter
of Politicians or influential people through back door is
the beginning of quality education in these campuses.
Thanks to these teachers for continuing the trend they
initiated long time ago, i.e. 20 years ago.
Facilities: Thanks goes to British who establisehd the
initial facilities in Pulchowk campus. Thanks to these
great qualified teachers from best universities in India,
like Roorkee (now, IIT Roorkee) and IITs changed the
face of teaching profession in Pulchowk Campus.
Just compare the quality in Nepal Engineering Campus,
where you pay money, you get certificate: that was the
reason they moved to Pokhara University: NEC could
not compete with the admission exam policy of TU
under the control of Pulchowk Campus and moved to
Pokhara University to have full monopoly on admission
matters via money tricks.
Its a cycle: good teachers, good students ... good college
and this triangle is really lasting and these nodes are
interdependent.
Good luck to PC students.
