I was looking at this pic...No doubt it is newroad.. but one thing I am confused about is that in front of that tall building (Peanuts) there used to be Bhoogol park... I see some shops n some boards on its chaat in this pic. Is that park no more??????Anyone knows anythign about it?

That yellow building is Nepal Rastra Bank and the one next to it is Ratna plaza that has peanuts store...I m pretty sure its newroad.... but where is BHOOGOL PARK??????? :-(

I may not have been there for at least a decade. Tyo globe ko tala patti Gorkhapatra taaseko hunthyo chaarai tira (Gorkhapatra Sansthan providing free readership?). I think there were red cement benches surrounding the pedestal.

Thanks for the clarification. I remember the place as I was one of those reading free patrika posted around the park about one decade ago. I beleive it is still there, although not visible in the picture posted above. It should be a bit farther to the left. The building next to NBL has an Omega watch store, I recall vaguly now.

Remember the salik in newroad is facing toward newroad gate not to dharmapath.......or nagarpalika....or bhugal park...check the salik once again..then that place over on right is way to aakha hospital......if it is newroad then where did the damkal ko purano building gone....remeber Judaa barun yantra......tyo purano bakery bhako building nai haina kunai haalat maa.....yaar mula haru...jpt dine

dont know about tripureswor, but its not newroad for sure. i dont recognize those two tall buildings in tripureswor tho.
