Bahunism is not as you think racism. Bahuns doesn't support only bahuns or speak their own language once they meet people of same enclaves, but other jat jati haru do personalize their languages and backbiting to us, do you know one thing, you don't see an elephant on your head and see a lice on bahun's head. You have to improve your ability to see everybody similar, then you will see similarities among all of us(nepalese). It seem s like it is propaganda of Maobadi to disintegrate us and fight each other.

Racism means undemocratic and un-equal corrupt act or behave in the terms of moral, mental, employment, social, cultural, religious, political, Sex, Race, Nationality and human rights.

Why and How Racism implements and applies in Nepal:

In Nepali constitution, Nepal considers Only Hindu kingdom is racism.

In Nepali Army, employ only Hindu people and give only high army rank to Bahuns and Chettris is racism.

In education sector, to teach only Saskrit language and suppress other language is racism. Provide 98% educational vacancies and scholarship to Bahuns and Chettri is Racism.

In employment, employ 98% Bahuns and Chettri people and left behind rest tribal Nepalese people is racism.

In politics, giving high vacancy and leadership role to Bahuns and Chettris, and rest keep in parties as workers people is racism.

In social, cultural and religion, Bahuns and Chettri create Caste and Race systems, and they convert Nepali democratic system into Caste Systems that is racism.

Racist behavior and mentality, Bahuns and Chettri thinks that they are only superior people where there is No single point to claim as them superior race. That is bad mentality of racist.

Therefore, RACISM IS MAJOR KEY PROBLEM of Nepal. It has deep dark root problem inside Bahun and Chettri people and their mentality, social, cultural, religion, employment and political practices.

Conclusion:

Racism in Nepal must be end before any new Nepali democracy, Peace, Human rights and New political change.

WELL SAID!!! Racism, I would venture is not so much the major issue as is prejudice.

This is democratic world and we can express our thought openly.

It is not necessarily have to sweet to talk about.

Yes, Nepal main 80% problems based on racism.

Even Dog of the street of kathmandu knows about it.

it's not a major problem in Nepal.... discrimination in Nepal is mainly based on caste and class as we all know. And I think it is diminishing in our culture atleast our generation is not to caste conscious.. that's what I think and would like to believe in.. i think after you come to the US, you become over conscious about racism, oppression and all that kinda stuff. it not bad to be aware of the issue but I think Nepal has experienced a major change in that regard....

Racism is certainly widespread in Nepal. Calling someone "Dhoti" and "Madhisey" is disgusting.

Some group of Nepalese people do Racism in many different ways.

Try to hide or Try to Cover up is also one type of crime or corruption and along with Racism.

That means....

Once you do one crime or corruption, you have to do 100 or 1000 crimes or corruption to cover up or hide.

Finally, You can not do to stop but talk bluff and stupid.

If you do racism, it is racism. There is No mesurement about it like little or Big.

Talking about Racism in Nepal is a Democratic Rights. So why not do so.

Not just in Nepal, they have the tendency to carry it everywhere they go.
Just look at this site, it just show deep racism is rooted in our society.

In nepal racism is still a major problem because some people who are educated they do not have capacity to think. When we look in the circle of conservitive nepali people, lots of people have habit of doing wrong pre-judgement, one on the among is racial prejudice. I think now a days numbers among these group has been declined how ever it is still major problem... I hope it will be better in the future..

Ofcourse racism is a big problem in Nepal as thee are two major races living there the MANGOLIANS AND CAUCASIANS. Thats why people are filled with prejudice and all other kinds of negative feeling and there is no way the country will ever progress with this silly attitude

All living organisms are discriminatory by nature, human being is not an exception. By nature they evey living organism has an instinct to help propogate its kind and not someone else's. Why do horses go along with other horses not Zebras because horses have far more similarity in almost everyways with other horses than with any Zebras. It comes down to compatibility.

When talking about human. A person of a particular race will have far more common things to share with a peson of the same race than those of a different race. Therefore there is more compatibility between two different people of the same race. However the factors such as social settings in which he/she grew up can make a big difference.

There is no doubt there is a disproportionate represention of certain people in positions of power and influence. How much of that is due to institutionalized casteism is debatable. Nonetheless whatever its causes, this needs to change if we are to become a great society with equal opportunities for all.

RACISM IS NO PROBLEMS FOR NEPAL AT ALL, NEPALI ARE FERY MUCH RESITABLE AND FLEXIBLE INDIVIDUALS, THEY ARE VERY PEACEFUL AND BELEIVE IN THEIR OWN KARMA. SO, PLEASE DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME ON THIS UNNECESSARY ISSUE. BE CREATIVE AND HELP TO BUILD PEACEFUL AND DEMOCRATIC NEPAL.

Why or How come Racism is not problem in Nepal?

Let’s talk openly and democratically.

If you see statistic record since more than 50 years or deep into past of Nepal political, social, cultural, religion and history as well, we can see visually deep sticky Racism just in front of eyes.

Look at,

In constitution written that Nepal is only Hindu kingdom. Do you think there are only Hindu people live in Nepal? Where is Christian, Muslim, Jain and other Native tribal religion people? In Nepal, there are more than 50 native tribal people and they are suppressed by constitution.

In the context of Nepal government, more than 90% Chettri and Bahuns only two race people employed in government offices. Rest Nepalese people never ever have opportunity to get employ in Nepali government offices. That means Nepal government means private ownership of Bahuns and Chettris race. These people do heavy briberies, crimes and corruption in Nepal. This is very serious Racism problem in Nepal.

In the context of Nepal Education system, there so many native tribal languages in Nepal but Nepali government only officially recognize Khas and Saskirit language are Nepali languages. Other languages are suppressed by Nepali government (Bahuns and Chettris).

And also, 95% foreign educational scholarship goes to Bahuns and Chettris only.

Other native people 80% live in villages where there is no school, colleges and educational institutions. Definitely, that is straight unfair. How come other native Nepalese people must to develop their social life.

In political context of Nepal, 94% political leaders, members and workers filled by only two races Bahuns and Chettris. Rest of the Native Nepalese people systematically remove or isolate to participation in Nepali government and Political parties.

In the context of crimes and corruption of Nepal, more than 95% crimes and corruption are done by Bahuns and Chettris in Nepal. Other tribal Nepalese people go to foreign countries and do hard work and send money back to Nepal. So Nepal economy seems stable condition even Nepal doesn’t have much jobs, industries, production and business. No but Nepal economy is like whole in the pot. Whole in the pot made by Bahuns and Chettris.

It is simply that why our Democracy failed so many times. Why Revolution is going on? We poor, innocent and true Nepalese have to suffer, because of root reason of RACISM.
