Toss: Nepal (Bat) Nepal:71/4 (23o) (Kaniska 7, Sharad 1, Mahesh 18, Paras 0, Gyanendra 32*, Prem 2*) Doesnt look promising! they must make at least 180+ to have any chance of bowling uganda out

im predicting that if we get a score more than 150, we win uganda has one of the worst batting records in the tournament and bowling has definately been our strength

i hope le chefs predictions are as good as last time Still we have 5 wickets and some 13 overs. We can get some thing like 50/60 runs. which will take out score beyond 180 and that will be good enough to defend 150 will not be safe at all. couple of chakkas will definitely put us in deeep trouble in such situation. luckily we are getting 40+ extras from uganda

uganda has had scores of 74, 137 and 89 all out in its three matches so far in the competition. going by that record, i think its safe to say that altho our batting performance isnt all that (127/5 in 37 overs looks good for a total score in somewhere around 180-200), its enough to ensure we will win this match so dont worry too much folks. not for today, at least whats gonna happen against south africa in the next match, however, is quite another story

on a related note ireland is doing extremely wellin its match against NZ. looks like its shaping up to be the first major upset. and if its ireland who do it, its deserved. their 4-run loss to england and our own 2-run loss to zim were the closest an associate side has come to toppling a test team I LOVE GUINNESS!!!!!!!

I am not so confident about defending anything less than 180. Uganda were playing Bangladesh, NZ and Pakistan in group phase. So only they had bad records. The practice match results further provides some proof that they are here not just for some numbers! Nepal seems to have understimated. Now they are paying for that

ok, let me put that into prespective uganda scored 137 against NZ respectable, maybe but heres the thing the same NZ attack that dismantled uganda for 137 is being punished by ireland, who currently look set to score 300+ (!!!!!!!!!). we dismissed ireland for 170 odd all throughout the tournament, its our bowling that has consistently given us great chances to win, and its our batting that has given us heartaches the same thing here today. i still believe that any nepali score in excess of 150 will mean we win.
