well dude , that was a good piece of work on paintbrush but unfurtunately thats a planemetric view on which all of nepal looks like flat land of terai . Your imagination is good but be sure it will never materalize until and unless tunnel construction becomes an overnight thing.

The plan looks to be totally imaginary. Those highway seem to run parallel to the borders, which is really bad to start of. And dude what are those N-S highway doing, looks like someone trying to play tic tac. NOT worth, next proposal.

its a good imaginary plan. Where's the beltway. I couldnt see any beltways or parkways. Imaginary plan only in imaginary yaar. Lets first get food to the ppl who need food. Lets think about highways later.

dude, it's not even possible to fly a helicoptor over the line that you have drawn. I don't even see that in dream. What do you think? Nepal is a flat land like Great plains of united states.. through that imagination from your mind. such kind of imagination is of no worth dude! wake up..

I do not agree with you. you are wrong on it. Read this.... " All meaningful and lasting change starts first in your imagination and then works its way out. Imagination is more important than knowledge. " This speeched by Albert Einstein. Einstein is right because you do anything you must imagine, dream then do Scratch, Research and Design,.... After that finalize and put action toward work.

Hey Dude, How can railway line go through the hilly Mahabharat and Chure region? At least move your proposed reilway line to near by Indian border area which is relatively flat. Hmm, looking at your proposed routes, my first guess is you are not a civil engineer.

Well, newly built Tibetian railway line is really a great achievement being one of the world's highest train routes. But there was not any alternatives to reach TIBET and that was the most feasible route. And.." There is nothing impossible.... It is just matter of Interest, courage, devotion, sacrifice and contribution" It's also true. But what can I suggest you looking at the achyut's map, the cost of the proposed railway line will be more than half if you shift the route to 50 km south from the current one. Feasibility, cost are more important factors than Interest, courage, devotion, sacrifice and contribution when it comes about road and railway networks.

I agree with vital role of Building cost and feasibility. But Nepal got total almost 25$ billions US dollars from various countries China, Japan, Korea, Finland, Germany, UK, USA, Russia, France, Brunei, Singapore and United Nation Organization. Where that money goes? It is just disappear in Government Officials pockets and Engineers pockets. Why do not we truly pour that money for country infrastructure development? In another point, Spending money in hard way or expensive way would be the better than making money disappearing into crooks pockets. At the end, we will have at least Road, Railway, Bridge, tunnel, water dam etc. What do you think?

I totally agree with "topheroni3" Yes.... It true and reality. If you really want to develope Nepal, There is No obstacle about cost, money or feasibility or impossible. All negative, bad or weakness matters are only for stupids, criminals and corrupt Nepalese thoese who involve in crimes and corruption in Nepal.

Thanks for your inputs guys. Yes, this is just an imagination. I have just spent about an hour or so in this work. So, it is not a perfect plan but an imaginary view. It may be modified by civil engineers if you want. But, my ideology is we can certainly make it possible: here are some points to suppor this: i. In Florida, building a one lane one-mile long road costs $610,000 including all reasearch, feasibility study etc cost ( From a reliable source . I fogot the link for the report). ii. Nepal has just recently got some million dollars in grant for some road project works (go through few days' back kantipur or http://www.adb.org/Media/Articles/2006/10416-Nepal-roads/default.asp). The total amount was 80 million dollars and its just for one project. With 80 million dollars we can construct US standard, with US manpower one laned 131 miles of road. In case of nepal I will double it and make it two laned. iii. The project duration to spend 80 million dollars was 5-6 years. You can calculate again on how much money had been flown to nepal in the name of road construction each year and project it to future .. Rest calculate on your own.... Thanks
