Since we are talking about cars, guys, have any of you leased one rather than buy? I wanted to buy the Mercedez M330 (M-class SUV), but wanted to lease...any suggestions on buy vs. lease?? Would love to hear from ones that have actually leased one, and their experience of it.....

I have, dude. It's OK but once you drive it, you have to watch out for mileage, because they charge you for extra miles. Also, I needed full insurance. At the end of 2 years, I got rid of the car. It is better to buy and then sell probably. ---- I drive toyta 98, Hundai Accent 99. I drove Ford Taurus 95(leased), Prelude 89, Nissan Sentra 92. The best car is Toyota 98. Then hundai Accent. Runs great, great on gas.

Magdadela: So, u suggest buy over lease?? Buying a Mercedez gonna hurt my back man.....45 K+ ...I was hoping to lease for few years.....hmm....Might have to stick with my Sequoia 05.....Its a great SUV, if anyone is thinking about it.......Toyota beats every other model in comfort, hands down !

I suggest buy new used where the first owner paid for the depreciation. Remember the value of a new car goes down once you drive it out their parking lot. Something with 25K miles on it is good and you'll still have warranty. Lease only if you money is not a factor.

Leasing is good only if you are not going to put too much mileage. I don't suggest anyone to lease if you are living in the crowded city like Boston or Ny due to the fact small accident, scratch on the car is normal in the major metropolitan cities. Most leases allow you between 10,000 to 12,000 miles per year...keep in mind will that be sufficient for you. The lease is ideal for someone who likes to drive a new car every so often, does not mind spending money, and does not care about building equity on his/her investment. You can lease BMW or Mercedes for about 400 a month for 24 or 36 months in our area. Dealers prefer that you lease instead of purchase because they make decent profit from leasing.
