A 23 year old +2 graduate just migrated to the US with a green card. His sole intention is to make money so he can support a family of 6 back home and is willing to work multiple jobs/80 hours a week if offered. What are some jobs that do not require higher college degree yet pay decent ?

Don't expect to make money with a high school degree. Jobs are physical for most high school graduates and pay is low. Having seen people work in the Ocean city, I do not advise people to go for such work. A college degree makes a great difference in your pay. Since you have a green card, go for a college degree for now and work part time to pay for your college.(I am assuming that you go to some cheap universities). Top liberal arts colleges are pretty expensive.

Statics has proven that There is not much of difference between a college grad and highschool grad overall earning life long.Infact sometimes highschoolers earn more.there are several reasons for it.Saying that i am not discouraging anyone to go college.there are other advatages. So if ur sole purpose is to make money then there can be jobs even like plumbing, eletricians, carpenters who earn more than $100k a year

it takes years of training and experience to be a plumber, electrician or carpenters to earn more than 100k. If you could just take a couple of months getting the training and earn 100k, everyone would do that. and stats says, a HS grad makes 200K more than without HS degree in his lifetime. But more than money , whats important is Education. so mr.babal...tell him to get a job, so he can maintain his priority, and support his family, but also think long term and think about getting a degree.

IMI, I don't know where your statistics came from but as far as I know the difference between high school graduates' earning and college graduates' earning is significant. It is the earnings of Bachelors Vs. Masters that has little difference. Check your facts first before you pitch in your comments. And I wonder how many high school graduates earn $100K a year...even those with PHD struggle for such a sum unless you can climb the corporate ladder....professors are paid around that sum in good schools... It is absolutely insane to take a few examples and generalize the scene. Gates himself opted out of school...doesn't provide a fine example when it boils down to us buddy.

hahahahahah tetekai joke garana maan lagera bhanideko ni:) College najane ra padna maan nalagneko lagi enocouragement.hahahah ok on serious note: An Average week salary for Highschool grad is :$598 an average week salary for College grad is:$896 Now consider this an avg college grad after 4-5 years in college carries avg $20000 loan +interest Now the person who has saved 5 years of life worked 4-5 years more than college grads and saved $20000.:) So, at the end of the day it is not much difference .you see what i am saying. You go to school to get more knowledge not only for money!!

hahahahaha IMI --"new sajha economist in the making" hahahahahahaa oops j/k. =========================== Now consider this an avg college grad after 4-5 years in college carries avg $20000 loan +interest Now the person who has saved 5 years of life worked 4-5 years more than college grads and saved $20000.:) ========================== hahahahaha..., as per my observations, the difference that you have estimated between a high school graduate and college grad is 298 per week. which makes it 15496 per year. so it will take just above a couple of years for a college grad to get over the loss against the high school grad during schooling. after that he will be earning some 16K more than the high school grad per year which is not bad in terms of percentage. also, if he goes for grad school the difference amount will at least double in general case. getting higher education will open more options for him as well in terms of expertise. JPT analysis gardine hahahahahhaa. Loote

Correction:Person with only highschool makes $506 a week :( ============================= hahaha. in that case the difference is even more 20,280 per annum. so it won't even take 2 freaking years to cover the loss for a college grad. hehe Loote

ImI, with the info you gave, a college grad can earn approx 300$ per week more than HS grad...so, $1200 per month, and abt 15600 more per yr...Now, one doesn't plan to live for just 3 or 4 yrs....how much can one save over life time..you do the math.. ok i'll do it for you...over 20 yrs period, a college grad will earn 312,000 more than HS grad. In 5 yrs, HS grad earns 155,480. In twenty yrs HS grad earns: 621,920 In 20 yrs, college grad earns: 931,840 Thus college grad can save abt 150,000 more than HS grad in 20 yrs time....after compenstating the time loss for undergrad studies. I think you're shortsighted. wear a pair of glasses..
