I got an email froms sajha giving me the password I supposedly requested for and the IP address shows whoever requested is from the University of Idaho.

ha ha some one might have entered you address.....

I got 11 messages in my inbox from Sajha.com giving my password.

Really, what is this??

I also got two messages from sajha with my password and IP address of the requester. मेरी बास्सै --- कल्ले मेरो खाता पछार्न ला हो कुन्नि। ल सान पर्भो छानबिन गर्दिनु पर्यो।

Same here. I got 12 messages giving me my password.

The IP address requesting my password is: 125.245.203.130

If it's not a technical glitch, and if someone is just trying to have whatever kind of fun by doing this, just BAN the bugger, San!

Some users who were banned from posting in sajha for inappropriate behaviour are finding other outlets such as going to the registration page and requesting passwords for random users, in their effort to get back at sajha for not tolerating their behavior.

Obviously, the password only goes to the email address of the user, so there is no way for the perpetrator(s) to get hold of the password. But, it does create a nuisance for users suddenly getting a load of password emails from sajha.

I'm going to put something in place so that this is curtailed.

I think you should make users to type in security digits/numbers before logging in to prevent fraud, and i m sure you are capturing IP addresses.

I got 3 of those emails too! :) Would this be something you could take up with the people who supplied that IP and report its abuse? When I looked up my password change IP, it resolved to a DNS host of "Asia-Pacific Network Information Center" (website: - http://www.apnic.net/ )

Your call but I honestly think you shouldn't let go of this person so lightly because unless he or she understands there is a consequence to doing this, I bet you they will try again, perhaps in some other way.

I changed my password last night after I got 11 emails. Just now, I got another email. Looks like someone is really after me (?).

I know San alone cannot do anything in this. Let us know, if you need some help from our side to track this obnoxious user.

I got the password in my email 9 times. As Loote said, I also found out that the requester is from Seoul, South Korea. This is the link to find out location from IP addresses:-

And this issue is getting serious as many of the users are being targeted. Something should be done promptly.

San, I got a email from some jennifer from Matromonial site. Looks like it is some solicitation for porno site.
How did (s)he get my email address?

Ok here is the scoop.

I have disabled people requesting more than 1 password per session so hopefully users wont' have to be bombarded with their passwords.

It might be easier to just find out who this person is and nicely tell him to stop bothering sajha users.
