i forgot to mention something, hongkong band and himalayan band is the same one.. thier real name was himalayan band but they were based on HK at that moment.. so ppl used to call them Hongkong band too

Himalayan Band and Hongkong band is the same. Deepak Thapa (bidesh jaane mayalu timilai..) Fame was the former bandmember of Himalayan Band. Some other songs like chautari ko dil ma basera..., bidesh jaane mayalu timilai, Malai dherai dherai maya chahinchha ki sodhana (Sunil Upreti later remade it and was popular at that time) was some good numbers.

it was not sunil uprety who did malai dherai dherai.. Suresh Kumar sang it.. Master Recording released an album which content songs by himalayan band.. sanjay shrestha, sukmit gurung, suresh kumar, harish mathema, were few who sang those songs...
