My view: Brady has the best fundamentals (a coach's dream) but ultimately Manning will be the legend who goes down as being the best ever. It all depends on if he has about 3-4 more good years (like the last) down the line. Also, Its still mid-career for them, so they have some more years to go before a definite answer arises as to who's better.

both are good and both have already proved that they are the best QB of present time. one has won one superbowl and other has three. but both of 'em can still win some more rings. so I wud say they are in the same rank .

If we want to find out who is better, they need to play for a team which has bad records. I think if they both go to mediocre team, Manning has better chances of succeeding because he is a complete package. He calls his own plays and he is very accurate, got strong arms and experts also agree he is more technically sound quarterback than Brady (I am NOT saying Brady lacks all this but Manning is better in this regard)
Brady has 3 rings and COUNTING. One can argue that he has 3 rings because he is in a better team but don't you think a quarterback makes a team better? I know Carson Palmer is also heck of a Quarterback but he is not making his team better because sometime he lacks ability to make quick decision and makes mental mistakes. Brady has tons of confidence and he is quick. Brady is a good decision maker so he will not loose a game for you.
The most important thing is a system and chemistry. Both Quarterbacks have won Super Bowls but still Brady is in better system.
Just like comparison between Bush Vs Man Mohan Singh…who is more talented? Of course Man Mohan Singh (Indian Prime Minister) but who is in better system (OK Bad example)……
Brady has the edge so Brady is better.
I log off now and see what others have to say

| Jan. 21, 2007: Colts 38, Patriots 34 After two straight regular-season wins, Manning & Co. finally came through when it mattered most. New
England came to Indy for the AFC title game, and promptly opened up a
21-3 lead in the second quarter after Asante Samuel intercepted Manning
and returned it for a 39-yard touchdown. But the Colts staged the biggest rally in NFL championship game history -- and got a monster of a monkey off their back. Manning
threw for just one touchdown, but finished with 349 yards on 27-of-47
attempts. Most impressive was his poise when the Patriots took a 34-31
lead with just under four minutes remaining. Manning drove the Colts 80
yards and capped the drive with a 1-yard plunge from running back

If this question was asked about two years ago, my answer could have been easily Brady. But for the last two seasons Manning has beaten Brady twice in regular season, and one post season. Brady is a team guy who has three rings to prove he is the best. Manning on the other holds many QB records and probably will have most NFL QB record before he retires. So there is no easy answer for this. I think technique wise Manning is better and team wise Brady is better.

Manning OVER-RATED(1st round pick in NFL draft)(one ring)(starter since rookie) Brady Under-Rated(7th round pick in NFL draft)(three rings)(backup QB moved his way up) ADVANTAGE BRADY

I will go for Brady based on current record. If he continues at the similar rate he will break Mannings records. November 4th is the day that may indicate who is better. Brady is the player of the week. Where as Manning has not been one in this year. Again, based on records, Brady has the edge. There are other variables that have to be factored in to rate the QBs.
