I stand for Nepali Community and I don't stand for your sole decision that you have nominated the election commission without excom's meeting and mandated decision.  The election has to be fair and all members have to vote.  Excom needs emergency meeting  by this week, if the excom majority agreed with your decision then  go  head do with your process otherwise we will boycut the election & your decision.

Why don't these executive committee members run their own web-site like www.sajha.com or their own personal blog rather than acting good men.
Learn what it takes to set an example. Fair election at this time isn't just full filing your desire to hold a tag to your name; President or VP or Secretary. If you feel inept, hand it over to those who can. Worthless junkie..!
Why don't you all learn from all other Nepalese Associations around the US or Canada. Even Southern California, or even closer, even Davis's Nepalese run their association way better than these position hungry ....piece ... .
What should we expect out of CA election at Nepal if we see this in the United States of America? Get life people!

Can somebody expalin me what this issue is ?? I was asked to dontate some money.. but back then ( 3mth or so) I didn't because they just told me they were forming new members and so...

Just  want to know why is there dispute and why new members are being elected throwing the existing members.

There is New Year program coming sunday. The charge is $20/person as I herd, but there is a lot to enjoy. Khasi, chicken BBQ and so so.

any idea if its NOT by this Nepal Association of Northern California (NANC) ? 
I was told, they elect one of the restaurant owner and in the name of party, special events like dashain, new year,  they heavily charge more than usual, saying, they serve khasi ko masu and chiura... crappp .. as if they import from Nepal. At Colorado, we have that for 10$, and yet a very well organized program.
 BTW, i hear abmassador chalise is coming to motel6 where a nepali guy works, at bay area, they are charging 10$ for entrance. Have fun guys.. but be careful of those committee leaders...

Its very ironic that the a person who hides under the pseudonym as Sampada, who is not shy on expressing her views on the taste of momo to music and slavery of girls in Nepal is quick to resort to name calling such as “”carzy shit” and “..dumb”  to someone who could very well could be her uncle, relative or even her one time boy friend.

कुनै पनि सामुहिक कार्य सफलता पुर्वक सम्पन्न या सँचालन गर्न सँस्थाको स्थापना गर्न जरुरी हुन्छ र यसै प्रयोजनको लागी हामीले कतिपय सँस्थाहरु स्थापना भएको देखेका छौ । कुनै सँस्था दिर्घकालीन हुन्छ त कुनै अल्पकालीन । सँस्थाको अवधि जति भएपनि उद्देश्य एउटै हो सामाजिक स्वार्थकोलागी सामुहिक रुपमा काम गर्नु र सम्पन्न गर्नु । सामान्यतयाः नितिगत कुरा गर्दा सँस्था स्थापनाको कारण माथि भने झै भएपनि व्यक्तिगत स्वार्थ या आफ्नो व्यक्तिगत अभिष्ट पुरा गर्न पनि सँस्थाको स्थापना गरिएको पनि पाईन्छ ।

सँस्था मार्फत सामाजिक कामहरु गर्दै जाँदा कामगर्ने व्यक्ति र सँस्था दुबै चर्चित हुँदैजान्छ र समाजले सँस्था या व्यक्तिलाई कुनै न कुनै दिन पुरस्कृत गर्छ । यसमा समय भने अवश्य लाग्न सक्छ तर निस्वार्थ भावनाले प्रेरित भएर गरेको कामको मूल्याङ्कन कुनै न कुनै दिन अवश्य हुन्छ । र यस मूल्याङ्कन र पुरस्कारको लोभ काम गर्ने व्पक्तिमा पटक्कै हुनुहुँदैन । यदि भयो भने त्यसलाई निस्वार्थपरक समाज सेवा भन्न मिल्दैन । कर्म गर्नु फलको आशा नगर्नु भन्ने गीताको सारलाई मनन गर्ने हो भने यो भनाई यस लेखको आशयमा लागु हुन्छ । अर्थात परिणाम या पुरस्कारको मोहमा गरिएको काम दुखदायी हुन्छ । किनभने कसैले फलको आशा गरेको छ र यदि त्यस्तो आशातीत फल प्राप्त नभएमा त्यस व्यक्तिमा निराशा बढ्छ निराशा बढेपछि त्यसको कारणहरु खुट्याउन तिर लाग्छ अनि अनुमानको आधारमा फलानो या ढिस्कानोले गर्दा यसो भएको हो भन्ने तर्क चल्न सक्छ र फलानो र ढिस्कानो सँगको दूरी बढ्न सक्छ । फलत उ एक्लिएको महशुस गर्न थाल्छ या एक्लो पर्न थाल्छ । परिणाम फलको आशामा गरेको कामले फल नदिएपछि या नपाए पछि विभिन्न समस्या र दुःखहरु आईपर्न सक्छ ।

माथि नै भने झैं निस्वार्थपरक कार्यको एक न एकदिन मूल्याङ्कन हुन्छ र त्यस्तो समाजसेवी एक न एकदिन पुरस्कृत हुन्छ र हुनुपनि पर्छ ।

तर समाजमा यस्ता मानिस या समुह पनि देखिन्छ जो सँस्थाको नाममा आफ्नो मात्र स्वार्थ हेर्ने गर्छन । आफ्नो स्वार्थ वा प्रयोजनकोलागी सँस्थाको नाम अगाडि बढाएर स्वार्थसिद्ध गर्न खोज्छन् । त्यसै सँस्था मार्फत आफुलाई समाजमा अगाडि ल्याउने या आउने धृष्टता गर्छन् र यो साह्रै निकृष्ट कार्य हो भन्नुमा अत्युक्ति नहोला । चाडै नाम कमाउने या चाँडै प्रसिद्ध हुन चाहनेले सँस्था काँधमा बोक्ने काम नगरी सँस्थाको काँध चढेर लोकपियता कमाउन खोज्छन् । र यस्तो लोकपि्रयता क्षणिक हो भन्ने कुरामा यस्ता व्यक्तिहरु अन्धा हुन्छन् ।

यसै प्रसङ्गमा मैले सुनेको कुरा यहाँ उल्लेख नगरी रहन सकिएन । कुरा कत्तिको सत्य हो त्यो त मलाई थाहा भएन तर हावा नचली पात हल्लिदैन भन्ने उखान सम्झेर भन्न लागेको हुँ ।

आफुले आफुलाई नै पुरस्कृत गराएर चर्चामा आउनकोलागी अहिले काठमाण्डौमा बतासे सँस्थाको सहारा लिने प्रवृत्ति चलेको छ भन्ने मैले सुनेको छुँ । तपाई त्यस सँस्थासँग सम्पर्क गरेर आफैलाई पुरस्कृत गराउने मनशाय भन्नहोस् र त्यस सँस्थाले मागेको भनेको जति खर्च दिनुहोस् । अनि त्यस सँस्थाले एक समारोहको आयोजना गरि कुनै मन्त्री या चर्चित व्यक्तिबाट तपाईलाई सम्मानित या पुरस्कृत गरिदिन्छ र तपाई रातारात चर्चित व्यक्ति बन्नुहुन्छ । अर्थात कोहि कोहि व्यक्ति नामको यति भोका हुन्छन् कि खोक्रो मानपदवी आफैंले आफलाई दिएर चर्चामा आउन चाहन्छन् ।
