I dont think there is an easy solution to it.  We nepali should think that we should not divide our ideas , our goal and even our land on the basis of religion,  race  and others.

having come all the way here from Nepal , having achieved what most of us have and will have, do you think  its good to talk things like MADHESHI CHOR DESH CHOD? Do you think that's the way to solve the problem or for that matter any problem.

If we talk like that when we are better educated then god help those in Nepal who are not so blessed because of the economic and social problems that we have had for generations. YOU PEOPLE SHOULD SET AN EXAMPLE AS HOW TO GO ABOUT SOLVING A PROBLEM. RETALIATION AND TIT FOR TAT ATTITUDE WILL TAKE US NOWHERE, IF THAT'S WHAT U PEOPLE WANT, THEN I HAVE NOTHING TO SAY.

I am a madheshi, but before that I am a proud Nepali, Though in every step of my life I had to prove I am nepali coz I had dark skin and my accent was different, I LOVE MY COUNTRY AS MUCH AS ANY PATRIOT WILL.So, PLEASE DON'T MAKE COMMENTS LIKE THIS PERSON DOESN'T LOOK LIKE NEPALI. Looks never define nationality. IF YOU THINK LOOKS DEFINE NATIONALITY, THEN AGAIN I HAVE NOTHING TO SAY.

Friends, we have problem on both sides, both ethnic groups, pahade and madheshi. But Nepal is bigger, we are a diverse country. We can solve problem only if we follow the FIRST BASIC RULE- TREAT OTHERS LIKE YOU LIKE TO BE TREATED, BE FORGIVING AND ACCOMODATING.UNDERSTAND OTHER'S POINT OF VIEWS AS WELL.

If you guys think I am wrong, then well I apologise. But there is no end to retaliation, no end if we seek disgracing others by making disrespectful remarks. Its our responsibility to unify all kind of people (who don't look like nepali to some but who are nepali, no doubt about that, period) and make it a beautiful and prosperous country. I post this article for not only for Pahadi's, all the real Nepal who live in Madhes (Taraians) should not support these type of single Madhes Provinces because Newars of Kathmandu never said, we want single province of Newars, or any other ethinic. Because, Tarai is incorporated with all the different castes, definately the question here is " Why Upendra Udhav has demanded for single province?" Matrika Udhav has started fight for Taraians 12 years ago, at that time Madhes doesn't need any right but they want single province now. So every Nepali, who lives in Tarai or Pahad, they can't support single provinces, acting like Bihari, we nepali are never bihari whether we are Taraians or Pahadi.

Being someone from Madheshi community, I outrightly reject this proposal by Mr. Yadav. This is what we mean by divisive politics.

But at the same time its true that there are lots of problems that are genuine and needs to be addressed. Those problems are not only confined to madhesis, they are spread all over our beloved country.

If I am I understanding correctly then what they are asking is that they still want to be part of Nepal but just want to have separate government. They don’t want the central government determining what happens in Tarai.

I think it’s a good idea every district in Nepal should have its own government, laws, law enforcements, courts etc. and those ppl should live in the actual district b/c then only they can know wht is needed. If they live in Katmandu how can they know wht is needed in dang.

If every district had its own government it would be more effective and efficient rather than a central government trying to control everything. All the districts will still be part of Nepal and the central government will just look over the major issues. Just like in America.

That’s not really dividing up the country. Its just a better way to make things work.

I always had faith in the new generation of Nepalis, my generation and the coming generations who I sincerely hoped could do away with the bitter past, could seek unification, and never ever resort to,  forget resort, never ever even think of resorting to violence. I already mentioned to everyone, it is fight for darkness, equality for every nepali. The question here is, why you are feeling quilty. There are more than 100 seats from Tarai which is gathered from Maoist, UML and Nepali Congress of main political parties. I don't mean we don't need regional politics but my question here is why they killed the pahadi's in Tarai. What would happen if Newars starts killing to other in Kathmandu. You know Pracanda won in Kirtipur, Pracanda was never Newar and Prakash Man Sigh Won in No. 1 constitutional area, which is basically parbate. Don't feel it is for Taraians, definately tarians not only cast vote for Tarians in this constitutional assembly. So you are one of the brave nepali of Tarai who will fight for person like Upendra, there are lot of Matrika, Patel and Udhavs, who are always nepali with Nepali heart. So you have to fight for the New Bihari's who want a single province but definately you can fight for better Tarai.
