Long time ago, I had posted inquiring how to stream Nepali Online FMs in mobile phone. Nobody answered. Perhaps there were no possiblilities. Today I have great news to share all of you that you can stream some of the Nepali FMs (Kantipur, Nepal FM, Radio Sagarmatha, BSBF Gurkha Radio, Maitri FM) right on your iPhones. You can listen to them while on walk, on the break, on the ride, anywhere. You feel like you are in your hometown. Isn't this the great news for the people like us?

How? What app? I have never been able to find any app that plays streaming Nepal FM stations...

Thank u all for taking interest. Ok, guwanccha lagayera, before getting ready enjoying Nepali radios in ur iPhone, u have to have following things.

A) u have to have either AT&T 3G line or ur iPhone must be within the coverage of WIFI.

B) u have to buy WunderRadio that costs $4.99 in Apple App Store that can search Nepali Radios from their database (which i have never tried) or u have to download Fstream from same store that is available free.

If u use Fstream, u have to specify the URL add manually. Each radio does have their own URL which is bit tricky to figure out. U can use the PC softwares they capture URL add. Be patient I am gonna explain everything in my next post.

Bro Maile Wunder Radio $5.99 ma kine but its really worth it. Nepali FM stations matra Haina, You can pretty much listen to most radio stations from anywhere You want and on top of that its really user friendly so there is no need to figure out URLs. Thanks quwanche bro, i would have never tried that app if you haven't brought this thread in Sajha.

ok here is how it works. once you download the app you browse for world radio station and search for Asia, then Nepal and I think you will see about 6 stations of which 4 streams perfectly. here is the link to get the apps for free .

I haven't purchased WunderRadio yet. But I am gonna donate to Fstream that is awesome. Where u can browse most of the popular radios from all over the world as well as u can add ur own radio yourself. So let's talk about this free application's URL address. Some of the time, I have found some of the stations being interrupted. I guess this could be cause of so called '16 ghante loadshading' in Nepal. Otherwise, all of them works perfectly in mine. Make sure you have used right URL address too. I am sorry that I posted wrong address of BSBF. This should be as follow.

I tried installing WunderRadio from your above link. It takes me to iTune and iTune doesn't allow installing unverified software. So I couldn't do it. Is there any idea? My iPhone is Jailbroken and I have Cydia and Installer on it. I browsed them too but couldn't find. Your further information is appreciated.

If you are not being able to listen all radios, check your settings where Cellular Network Connection is ON

I now got Kantipurfm, Hits FM and radio mirchi working fine. Nepal FM with really disturb noise.
The rest, couldn't get it to work.

O   FStream is just working fine...

I hear the machhapuchhre fm but it also doesn't sound like live broadcasting in real time. It sounds like pre-recorded one, coz I never hear local news of Pokhara, announcement, advertisement, bla. bla.. blaa.. Is this real machhapuchhre FM?
