Really sad news. God bless the rested ones.

People walk on the road instead of using the overhead bridge in Bhotahity. It had to happen some day  due to non stringent traffic rules.

This thing will keep on happening and people would kill by reversing the car as long as the law in nepal is not changed. It is now time to make a third party insurace in car compulsary so that there is does not encourage car driver to reverse and kill the people.

There will be even more deaths in the future. No one cares now. All are bastards, criminals and crooks. I can easily see the devil circling in the sky around Nepal.

Because Indians are involved in this accident even the Home Ministry is looking into this accident in lieu of the Kathmandu Police investigators.

Does Indian Home Ministry get involved when Nepalis die in India?

mR hydE, this is a vicious crime... six precious 'HUMAN' lives has been lost. Can not we keep politics out of our mind here? . . plz.

thx.

P.S. Even if Indian Home Ministery does give concern, they can and they should, as a responsible nation.

Anyway, this is a horrific news.  Let's pray for the victims of this mishap. And why that Julus or protest rallies?

These days do Police in Nepal do random sobriety check on drivers after dark?
If they don't they should.

this is ta mr. danfe123

you say that biplav has done something real bad... you know what i dont think so.... i knew him.. he was a fren of fren and he was a real good guy. tell me mr danfe have you ever owned a bike or a car in kathmandu. i have and i know what it is if you hhit someone. going back 7 year the day my mom gifted me my first bike... i was riding and there was this lady who was crossing the road. i might have just touched her and she started crying that i hit her hard. you know what i was more hurt trying to save her and i could not even walk... i was taken to the hospital with a broken leg. all she had was a couple of scratches and then she demanded a ct scan, a full body xray... blah blah.. she said she wants to get treated in a private hospital so i took her to Kathmandu modal hospital... this must be new to you coz you might be the ones who are one of them rigght.... you know, she stayed in the hospital for 5 days for a couple of scrratcches she wanted mineral water to drink,.,. horlicks everyday... she didnt want food from the hospital cafeteria but she wanted it from restaurants... hey i guess thee total i paid for my medical was like 20000 and i the total for her addded up more than 1 lacs... so if i had really killed her i could have got away with 20 thousands on legal fees and thats it...

so what do you think mr danfe... and this isnt the onlly incident with me... i had many other incidents and the incident involving my car was even worse when i really hit someone... i spent over 5 lacs... you point out on someone else... i agree there are mistakes in the law but you should also know the people u are dealing with... that dhoti would have bankrupted biplav's family and if you had met biplav you would not have said anything like that and as far as i know he did not drink too much... he was a mild drinker and the cops just made an assumption that he was drunk... you dont know whats going on behind the wheels dude....

so bacck off when you say somehting bad about someone you dont know for sure... get it...

this will be good for you....

To Manishinglawtown,

I think we should blame the car for that accident. No, we should blame the road for this accident  !!! Oh, no, we should blame those pedestrians who were walking on footpath on that awful night. They shouldn’t walk on that footpath when that guy was driving 100 km/hour. They should have avoided taking that street because that guy "Biplabh" was driving his Honda at 100 km/h after consuming alcohol.

I am telling all these because as you are friend of friend of driver, me too, friend of friend of one of the Nepali victim!

Manishinlawton.....I have also own a bike and car in nepal and so don't be bragging in here. Drive that shit sober fool and you will NOT come incontact with the pedestrians Its that simple. So don't be bragging about this guy who is driving 100 Km/hour ( Pretending the road in KTM built to be a race track) DRUNK and killing people on the footpath.

To Manishatlawton,

How would you like it if you mother or Father or brother's were one of the victims instead of other's that are in right now. Would you still do the same or say that what this driver did is justifiable......?You sound like a educated but illiterate moron who doesnot think twice before opening your mouth. Think well of what you are saying...

Can you imagine how much these families are stressed? They could be parent's of kids who are orphaned now...they could be the sole provider of food and shelter for older parent's/family

What is  if you were walking on the street and the same thing happens to you, how would you like it?

If you had driven well on the road, you wouldnot be troubled by that lady. She probably over did it like you said, but not everyone is like that. Your one bad experience should not be a reason of validity  for these kind of absurd behaviour in KTM by driver's. Grow up and Change your vision......

"God keep you out of trouble and give you some brain...that works!"

man's life should not be put into price in turns of how much you'd be paying. Life is precious, respect life like you love your life.

nepal is a failed state if we like to take it that way or not. corruption from top to bottom, class inequality, irresponsibility are rotting the country.
