Do you have tried EB2 NIW? There are many Do it yourself packages selling from $45 to $90 range. All of them seems to be a pdf document, collection of some 40-50 pages being delivered to you through email after you pay them.

I wonder if some of you successful EB2 NIWers can share those documents to fellow sajhaites, as you have the pdf and it does not cost you to share them to others who are researching about EB2 NIW like myself.

I saw your posting in the thread http://sajha.org/sajha/html/openthread.cfm?threadid=80604 I started couple of months back. I am also doing research on EB2 NIW and reached to a conclusion that it is too risky to do myself. If you work is extra ordinary and have lots of paper with several citations then it may be a different story.

I think it also depends on your visa type too as H1B is dual intent but F1 (OPT) is not. I am in OPT right now. I talked to couple of lawyers and they said you can show immigration intent even in F1(OPT) if you have full time job in your field. I have seen lots of good applicats rejected and few mediocre ones accepted. So, it basically boils down to how you present your case. If you are in H1B, you can try yourself and see as you can still have your H1B. All you loose is the application fee. But for me, I only have six months of OPT and finding job within this period seems out of question for now. At this point, it is the one and only one shot for me and I want to do it right. So, I have decided not to do without a lawyer. If you find something new, let me know.

By the way, are you in H1B? I am also looikng for successful cases while in F1(OPT). So far I only know one successful case while on F1 visa.

@Saaaj Thanks for the complement I am just sharing what I learned in my application process.I wish you good luck for all your applications.I tried eb2-niw myself but got REF since I had only MS and didn't have any paper published.So  I gave up and tried with traditional employment based option.But yes definitely eb2-niw is good if you have Phd and papers published and have very good recommendations letters.
But I know some person getting approval with MS degree since he did outstanding research in his field.
So it depends on your case.Keep in mind you need very good recommendations letters, citations by other authors in your papers and try to prove your credentials are exceptional to the economy of US and won't hamper job markets of US residents.If you think you have answers to all these questions in convening way I recommend to go ahead with your application process.

I am currently in H1 and working as a full time from last 6 months. My work might take 3 years to apply greencard for me. So,
can i apply by myself with NIW-Eb2 or NIW-Eb1. Currernly, i hold MS degree in Computer Science and working as a Software engineer.

Please share your experiences.

The thing they look for in eb2-niw is that you should be in position to prove that you did some outstanding research work that will be beneficial to the US also you should be able to why you didn't go through standard process Labor/140/485 and qualify for this category.
If you don't have definite answers to these questions and enough evidence to prove it you will be wasting your time and money.You can apply but you are likely to get REF and spend another $600 to file MTR.So if you have money and want to give it shot you can try.
If you can post your credentials I can make right suggestion.Please google and do some immigration forums research on what things they asked then you can make right judgement since all cases are unique.Hope that helps.
