Now you are talking about voting. Nobody had stopped the kings and the royals to commision a referendum on their status while they were in power. Had they got the gut, they could have conducted a referendum on their status themselves while they were kings and queens. Did they not know that people hated them? Were they not afraid of the referendum in the first place? They had the money and power but no willingness, why the hell do you, you Syanjali bro,  worry about it now? Every thing happen haphazardly, why did not they put it in ballet along with the election, Maoist agenda was to remove the king it does not mean it reflects people's choice? I am not asking to have a referendum now but I am talking about then and we would have our voice against Indian political direct pressure on this matter. India played a great role on removing King rather than Maoist.

Somewhere in past Dr. Baburam had commented that we need a constitutional monarchy due to topographic and social reason, later he changed his voice because he is going to be out from the party.
