A Nepali student pursuing nursing studies in New York has committed suicide on Sunday, April 15th.

Bhesh Raj Panday, 25, who hailed from Kerung of Agrakhachi district died while undergoing treatment at a hospital in New York. Panday was found unconscious at his apartment in Ridgewood, Sunday afternoon and rushed to a nearby hospital. The cause of death has not been confirmed, however preliminary reports indicate that Panday had committed suicide. According to news reports, authorities recovered poisonous medicine from Panday’a apartment.

Panday came to the U.S. five years ago. He had completed nursing course from Hostos college last year and had worked at hospital in North Carolina for few months.

Shree Parajuli, president of Nepali Ridgewood Society, informed that Panday was a gentle and friendly person but had been very concerned about his career lately.

People go through tough times.  For some people, rough time can be very hard.  

- Feels sad to hear such news. Wish he had proper guidelines and shared his stuff with loved/closed ones.
- I dont know what this SOB bittertruth wants to prove about himself but his comment was indeed un-necessary.

@bittertruth , It's all over now ,there 's no reason to call a name to  someone who is already passed ,So it's better  if you give some condelence to the family and give some words of inspiration to the students who are going through this hard times not to give up.

 Really disheartening. Rest peacefully friend. 

I didn't do that to garner any cheap attentions from intolerant bunch of you all roughnecks. I know few of you 've been hicks seeing all those lame comments on every topics splattered here on Sajha. Dying is a natural thing. I feel sad for those who die naturally but those who don't respect 'Life' and ends up committing suicide regardless of whatever causes are, those are 'Losers' and will remain 'losers' forever.

@behove_me, Lecturing me about my intellect.? I'm sorry you can keep your nonsense with yourself.  And, yeah, I'm not expecting any apology from you, because It doesn't mean anything to me. Hope you realize the truth sooner than you thought.

@fantush, I appreciate your words. Regarding the indignant comment that I made earlier, I don't have any remorse. I understand every death is difficult. The guy who chose the way to end his life, may be it's the right decision for him at that time but if given the second chance, he would definitely regret what he had done. Am not trying to justify anyone's action but simply saying things which is right or wrong based on my conscience. Don't we all make mistakes and later realize that it was a big mistake. This loser right now at different metaphysical state must be pondering upon the stupid decision he took ,..believe me.  At least he could have thought about the circle he's surrounded by. How hard it's gonna be for them. These ppl are very selfish who commit suicides. They don't think about the pain their families are going to carry, it hounds and lingers for long long time. He must be well-educated and well-trained but all in vain , darn thing didn't have his true conscience to guide him. Everyone has got issues, one must face it no matter what. Our problems are insignificant. I still urge all you ppl to take some time off, sit alone and contemplate around you. Awaken your true conscience, it's not gonna happen as long as your mind is clouded with emotional attachments and pollutants. Help yourself, learn yourself, and then you'll start realizing how precious a life is and how insignificant those problems are.

I wish that loser get the well-awakened consciousness to realize how beautiful his present is in his next incarnation.

@bittertruth If you had a point to make, you just lost it by posting in this thread. This place is for condolences not for your preachings about how you view life should be.

@caco, I didn't write to make my point. I just wanted to get something out how I was feeling about him when I addressed him as a loser. He lost his biggest thing that has happened to him 25 years ago, he lost his life and he's a 'loser' in that sense. Most of you are such a narrow-minded, ain't you?  You all are taking it in derogatory term and I don't blame you, it's the way you live, you live in a box. I've already written, I'm extremely sorry for his parent for what they've to go through now. If you can't read that and still coming back to tell me 'I've no feeling for his family', I'll be dismayed to think that I've been exchanging dialogues with .........
Well, now, eerily feeling like I'm screaming at someone's funeral.
Let the departed soul rest in peace. Whatever has been done has been done.
I ask my higherself that his family get the strength to withstand this unbearable pain.

I feel sorry for him and his family. It's unfathomable as the news say he already graduated and had a job. He hold onto it for five years, so there must be something only he or his closed ones know. But what a loss!

This was the second suicide of nepali inside US within a month. Poor souls! I hope they got the peace.
