Dear all,I had recently started on taking my clicks [again] after I bought myself a DSLR. I am not a pro, just an amateur who knows a just a basic [or even less] of photographies and takes his toll on whatever knowledge he had gained!! Once long time ago I had started a thread contributing to the beautiful pictures from Nepal for which there were numerous contributers and some of them even professionals. As of now I remember them as Bhanja, I_Nepali, Khaobadi, Aloneguy77 who had some love for this. I hope and think there are still number of us among our community who wants to learn and share the things or two about photography! Here is to share the first one from my side!

Juggy, I have my votes for you for being the most creative photographer. I think with the help of photoshop, you have come up with few really good ones. Congratulation and keep them coming. U stand really by yourself with an unique approach. Regards, Rai

Hey guys, I was checking the Nikon D60. But I saw different prices. low as 370 -700. Why is it like that? Or perhaps it says kit price when it is metioned as 700. N also could you please suggest me some website for tips and tricks of photography for a novice.

Thanks I nepali!! But am really novice/amateur on photography, had been taking loads with point and shoots and had turned to DSLRs only recently about 2 months ago, but of course I enhance my pics some more with photoshop! Mav,I would suggest for you to go for Nikon D80 rather than D60! It has edge over the all lower D series and almost perform like D200. I have been using it and I think Divdude uses the same too. You can get the basic kit for $ 854 at amazon: see here!!I surf around lots of websites for tips and tricks: some of them beingDigital Photography School What makes a great portrait? (Conscientious)etc.!!You can find more tips at Flickr discussion forums too!! But be aware not to stare at beautiful ladies with your zoom lens!! U ll get ur photo clicked for sure if u do so!!
