So even when they say it's approved, new card on production, it does not mean they send the card. Is it right?
When they say they are sending a card, then send a card, right?

Little confuse with the status update.

Common guys! you all will get this sooner or later. Why so worried about little things? Why are you all counting days, hours & minutes. It will be in your mail when they send it. Relax, start looking for job or job training .

Are they delaying tps for visa overstayed?

unsure but if that's the case then we have to wait 2 more month.
I did bio-metric on Aug 7th. no updates yet. :(

@mimroramero , I think the status place holder is just more informative than an actual status place holder. From my experience with ticketing system which I believe is what they use ..I think there's a bunch of options for receipt status that they select whatever they think is appropriate and is not always accurate.

Needless to say ...we shall not worry about it ..Unless you are a criminal you should be approved dhilo or chado.

Got EAD on mail today with end date on 12/24/16. i was thinking we will get 18 months from the EAD start date but it was only till the TPS end date.

I got mine too today.

End date will be the same for every one 12/24/2016 -- Although I have not looked at mine.
Roomie emailed me that I have a two letters from USCIS -- One for TPS and one for EAD I believe.

I will send in more details in a couple of hours.

You get two letters from USCIS after approval and a EAD card.
The expiration date is the same 12/24/16 for everyone.

I have been following this thread for quite a long time. I received my EAD card today with expiry date Dec 24, 2016.

Here is the history behind this incredible thing: :)

Application sent on: July 06
"Application received" confirmation mail from USCIS on: July 14
Biometrics appointment on: Aug 06
Both TPS and EAD approved on: Aug 10
EAD status changed from "Case Approved" to "Card Mailed" on: Aug 17
Received physical EAD card via mail on: Aug 20

Congrats. I think they approved it in a batch. I sent mine in 27th june. --Biometrics in 26 July.
Approved in 12th -- Card arrived today.

Hey guys off topic but ... Can we travel back home (Nepal) with AP. I hear mixed suggestions.

Yes! But the problem is processing fees which is $360. You have to fill the form I-131. Also you need to prepare a document explaining the purpose of travel. Part 7 of the form requires you to prepare this document.

I_love_nepal , did a lawyer confirm you ? on weather its safe to travel back-home to NEPAL?
I know about the I131 as I'm going to the office tomorrow to get one.
