I can't dare proving Jhapa being better than KTM. I am not that idiotic. There is no comparison, KTM is KTM afterall. All I want to do is to shut the mouth of stereotyping imbecile like '200 times'. Yes, KTM has given so many things to outsiders, but Kathmandule kaile pani bahira ko manche lai aafno ta ke manche nai thandaina. Even if you visit world and have highest degree, ample knowledge, good financial status, you will still be a PAKHEY to a Kathmanduites, even to a bummy one. 

My experience in KTM
I had many friends from KTM during my studies. TAra, 1-2 puste ko dhak dherai hunthyo kathmandu ko hunu ma tyaha ko raithane haru bhanda. , Probably 200 is 1 puste.

They are just like you guys. They want to be respected on who they are not where they are from.

Ktm is to New york, as Jhapa is to Akron, Ohio. There is no comparision there. KTm is the center of financial, technological and social development in Nepal. That's why all you Jhapali's migrate to KTm to try to get a piece of the pie. The same reason we migrate from Nepal to US.

For people like me from KTM, we have to make one stop migration from Nepal to US, but for people from Jhapa, they have to first make the stop and transition in KTM then to the US.

I'm sorry to say, no matter what you guys will always have catching up to do in your etiquette no matter how much money you make by hustling.

It's like those foreigners who come to the US to work and they try to get a superior attitude by saying americans are dumb. It's not that they are dumb, they don't care to hustle like foreigners to make a living because they already live here and that's their way of life. Foreigners will always feel they are separate from the American mainstream, and in the same way the Jhapalis will always feel inferior to KTM residents because they will always be trying to copy them to try to assimilate into their system, to act like one of them.

If Jhapa was better than KTM why aren't people from Ktm going to Jhapa? but people from Jhapa are flocking into KTM? Just answer this simple question and you have your answer right there.

I personally don't have any problem with jhapalis as well as people from other parts of Nepal outside KTM and my intention is not to hurt anyone's feelings. To folks whoever are disgracing kathmandu,

1. First of all, let's talk about term "fataha and jaali"  for the JHAPALIS.  Actually, this name is not given to Jhapalis by Ktm in particular. Ppl from all parts of Nepal also think that  Jhapalis are jaali fataha (cunning in English, may be). IT IS BECAUSE JHAPALIS EARNED THIS NAME FOR THEMSELVES. So instead of blaming KATHMANDU, blame yourselves or your own people who earned this name for you guys from their conducts. So instead of blaming Kathmandu, change your behaviours.

2. Do not try to belittle KATHMANDU, while trying to prove your arguments. Because, you can never win on this one. KATHMANDU has always been a center of attraction for all the people all over NEPAL. Don't forget that, if you have ever read the history of Nepal, the ultimate goal of the life of LATE PRITHVI NARAYAN SHAH was to win KATHMANDU.

3. To those who think that the native people of Kathmandu are dumb, take note that even from the ancient period, KATHMANDU has always been the most prosperous, rich in culture, centre of power game in the history. Look at the cultural and man-made heritage of KATHMANDU. Can you guys really compare that to JHAPA or any other place of NEPAL? So, now tell us, how can a bunch of native people made this happen if they really were dumb as you guys love call them. It is like saying that white people are dumb.

4.  Don't assume that I am one of those kathmanduties, who never crossed Thankot.  If not all, I have lived in some other big metropolitan cities of Nepal and I can say this without hesitation that it's only a waste of Time and Energy to compare Kathmandu with any other parts of Nepal. As Ktmrulez said, it's like comparing Newyork with other small town of US. Of course, the other small towns with limited nativers are cleaner, quieter and safer with clean air and water. But still, NEWYork is Newyork. It's same with KTM. 
KTM IS KTM.

4. Lastly, I think this thread is going off the topic. OP was talking only on behalf of Jhapalis. And now this has become a war zone for nepalese from outside of KTM and those from KTM.
